Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these Christiano brothers and their films. You know, them fellas, Dave and Rich, they make movies. Not just any movies, mind you, but Christian movies. Movies that are supposed to, you know, teach you somethin’ good, somethin’ about God and all that.
I ain’t no movie expert, that’s for sure. I like a good story, somethin’ that makes you think, or maybe even cry a little. But these Christiano brothers, they got a whole bunch of movies. Nineteen, they say! Nineteen movies! That’s a lot of filmin’, ain’t it?
One of their movies, it’s called Second Glance. Came out a long time ago, back in 1992. I reckon some folks still watch it. You can even find it on somethin’ called “Sky Angel’s Video On Demand”. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I ain’t never seen it myself, but I heard it’s a drama. You know, the kind of movie where folks have problems and gotta figure things out.
They also made one called Amazing Love. They didn’t do that one all by themselves, though. They worked with somebody else on it. I don’t know all the details, see? But it’s about love, I guess. And not just any love, but, you know, the kind God talks about.
- They make Christian movies.
- Dave and Rich are the brothers who make ‘em.
- They made a whole bunch of movies, like nineteen or somethin’.
- One movie is called Second Glance.
- Another one is Amazing Love.
Now, some folks say movies can be bad for you. They say the devil uses movies to mess with people’s lives. And maybe that’s true for some movies. You know, the ones with all the violence and bad language and whatnot. But these Christiano brothers, they’re tryin’ to do somethin’ different. They’re tryin’ to use movies for good, to tell stories that teach you somethin’ about God and how to live a good life. At least, that’s what I hear.
Rich Christiano, he’s one of the brothers. Born in 1956, so he’s been around a while. He directs and writes and produces these movies. He even owns somethin’ called the Christiano Film Group. Sounds important, don’t it? I guess you gotta have a group if you’re gonna make all them movies.
They got a page on somethin’ called Facebook. It says “Christiano Brothers”. Got some folks who like it, 92 it says. Not a whole lot, I guess, but maybe more folks watch their movies than like their page. You never know these days.
I reckon these Christiano brothers, they believe in what they’re doin’. They believe in makin’ movies that spread the word of God. And that’s alright, I guess. Everybody’s gotta believe in somethin’, right? And if they can do it through movies, well, more power to ’em. I ain’t sayin’ I understand it all, mind you. But I reckon it’s better than makin’ movies that just show you a bunch of bad stuff.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ different to watch, somethin’ that might make you think a little, maybe you should check out one of these Christiano brothers’ movies. Like I said, I ain’t seen ‘em all. But they’re out there, and folks seem to like ‘em. And who knows, maybe you’ll learn somethin’ too. Maybe you’ll even feel a little closer to God. Or maybe you’ll just think it’s a good story. Either way, it’s your choice. But it’s good to know there are folks out there tryin’ to make movies that are different, that are about somethin’ more than just shootin’ and yellin’. These Christiano brothers, they’re tryin’ to make a difference, one movie at a time. And that’s somethin’ worth thinkin’ about.
And I reckon that’s about all I know about these Christiano brothers and their films. It ain’t much, maybe, but it’s somethin’. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. Got some potatoes to peel and some beans to cook. Real life, you know, ain’t like the movies. But sometimes, it’s good to watch a story and forget about the potatoes for a while.
