Alright, let’s talk about these WWE Elite 1 figures, ya know, the wrestling toys. I ain’t no expert, but I seen my grandkid playin’ with ’em, so I kinda get it. These things ain’t like them cheap plastic fellas you get at the dollar store, no sir. These are supposed to be the fancy ones, the ones that bend all over the place.
First off, they come in a box, a shiny one, with pictures of the wrestlers on it. You know, those big muscle guys who yell and jump around on TV. My grandkid, he knows all their names, but I just call ’em “the noisy fellas.” Anyways, the box is important, see, ’cause collectors, they like to keep the box all nice and pretty. Don’t ask me why, seems like a waste of space if you ask me, but what do I know?
Now, the wrestler toy itself, that’s the real deal. They got all these joints, so you can twist ’em and turn ’em every which way. Arms go up, legs go back, even their little fingers move, kinda creepy if you think about it too hard. The clothes, they’re pretty fancy too. Not real clothes, mind you, but they got all the little details, the belts, the boots, even the little tattoos. They say it’s “TrueFX detailing,” whatever that means. Looks real enough, I guess.
- They bend real good.
- The clothes look fancy, like real tiny clothes.
- They got faces that look like the real wrestlers, kinda.
My grandkid, he likes to make ’em fight each other. He’ll set up a whole ring on the floor and have ’em smackin’ each other around. He makes all the noises too, the grunts and the yells. Kids, they got so much energy, I tell ya. Me, I just sit and watch, make sure he don’t break nothin’. These WWE Elite action figures ain’t cheap, you know.
Now, they got different series of these things, like Elite Series 1, Elite Series 10, Elite Series 100, they just keep makin’ ’em. I don’t get it, how many wrestlers can there be? But my grandkid, he wants ’em all. He says the older ones, like the Elite Greatest Hits Series 1, are hard to find and worth more money. Sounds like a whole lotta fuss over some toys, but hey, it keeps him happy.
I heard tell they started makin’ these things way back when, and they changed the boxes a few times. Added pictures, changed the colors, you know how they do. Keeps things lookin’ new, I guess. They even got some kinda website where people talk about these toys, or somethin’ like that. Folks postin’ pictures and talkin’ about which ones are rare and which ones ain’t. It’s a whole world, I tell ya, a whole world.
They say these Mattel WWE Elite figures are about six inches tall. Not too big, not too small, just right for little hands to grab and play with. And they got these swappable hands, so you can make the wrestlers hold things or point or whatever. My grandkid, he loves that part. He’s always switchin’ the hands around, makin’ the wrestlers do all sorts of silly things.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a gift for a kid who likes wrestlin’, these WWE Elite Collection figures ain’t a bad choice. They’re well-made, they look good, and they seem to last a long time. Just be prepared to spend a few bucks, ’cause like I said, they ain’t cheap. And don’t be surprised if your kid starts yellin’ and jumpin’ around like those noisy fellas on TV. It’s all part of the fun, I guess.
And remember, keep the boxes nice and pretty, or so them collectors say. Me, I’d just throw ’em out, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady who watches her grandkid play with wrestlin’ toys. But hey, if it makes him happy, it makes me happy too. And that’s all that matters, right? WWE action figures, who knew they could be so complicated.
So, that’s the lowdown on these WWE Elite Series figures, from what I can tell. They bend, they look fancy, and they keep the kids entertained. What more could you want from a toy? Just don’t ask me to name all the wrestlers, ’cause I ain’t got a clue. They all look like big muscle guys to me.
