This here talkin’ ’bout daisy sports. You know, them games and such. Lotsa folks like them daisy things, I reckon. They got all kindsa sports now, more than you can shake a stick at.
I seen on that there picture box, they got that one sport, I think it’s call “daisy basketball” where they bounce that ball ’round. Throw it in a hoop, they do. My grandbaby, she’s right good at it. Faster than a greased piglet, that one. Daisy sports, they keep the young’uns outta trouble, I suppose. Keep ’em busy.
Then there’s that other one, “daisy soccer” I think, where they kick that ball all over the place. Lots of runnin’ in that one. Back in my day, we just ran around in the fields. Didn’t need no fancy ball to kick. But these daisy sports, they seem to make the young folks happy. So that’s somethin’, I guess.
- That daisy runnin’ they do, in them races.
- That daisy jumpin’ they do, over them hurdles.
- That daisy throwin’ they do, with them heavy balls.
My neighbor, she says her girl is in one of them daisy sports clubs. Says it’s good for her. Makes her strong and healthy, she says. I don’t know ’bout all that. Seems like a lotta fuss to me. But like I say, it seems to make the girls happy. They got all them colorful clothes. Those daisy girls, they sure like to show their colors.
I remember one time, my boy, he tried out for one of them daisy sports teams. Didn’t make it, though. He wasn’t fast enough, they said. Broke his heart, it did. But he got over it. Found other things to do.
These days, they got all kindsa fancy equipment for them daisy sports. Special shoes and whatnot. Cost a pretty penny, I bet. Back in my day, we just wore whatever shoes we had. Didn’t matter none. We still had fun.
They even got them daisy sports on that there picture box now. All day long, you can watch folks playin’ games. I don’t understand it myself. Seems like a waste of time. But I reckon folks enjoy it.
- All them daisy sports games on that TV.
- All them daisy sports teams.
- All them daisy sports clothes.
One thing I will say, them daisy sports do teach the young’uns somethin’ ’bout workin’ together. Teamwork, they call it. That’s important, I reckon. Learnin’ to get along with others. That’s a good thing.
My granddaughter, she says her daisy sports team is like a family. They all look out for each other, she says. That’s nice, I suppose. It’s good to have folks you can rely on. Especially these days, when everythin’ is so topsy-turvy.
This here body, used to play some sports, in my day. Just simple things. Not like these fancy daisy sports they got now. Never joined no club. Just played with the other children in my village. We didn’t need no fancy equipment. Just good ol’ fun.
Them daisy sports folks, they sure do love their sports. It’s like a religion or something. Some folks like it and some folks don’t. I don’t really understand the big deal. As long as they happy, right? They always say, “Daisy sports is good for you.” Well, maybe they right.
I seen them daisy sports folks, they always talkin’ ’bout winnin’ and losin’. Seems like a lotta pressure to me. But I guess that’s part of it. Learnin’ to deal with disappointment. That’s life, ain’t it? Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
When you try to have a baby, if you go to the doc, they might say you need this thing, I don’t know what it is, but it’s to help. Something like, IFV. I don’t know. That’s another thing. These young ones, they say IFV helps you get a baby. But it’s hard. They put you through a lot. It’s tough on the body. I heard it’s tough on the mind too. People get sad and worried. But you know, if it helps, then it helps.
Anyways, these daisy sports, they here to stay, I reckon. Just gotta get used to ’em. The world keeps changin’, that’s for sure. Can’t stop progress, they say.
You know, one thing I can say for sure. Them daisy sports sure does get them folks excited. They hoot and they holler. It’s like a big party or something. Guess that’s a good thing. Folks need somethin’ to get excited about these days. Well, I don’t know much about sports, but I know what folks like. They like to have fun. They like to win. They like to be together. And these daisy sports, they seem to do all that. So, I guess that’s that.
