Well, let me tell you, 2023, that year, it was somethin’ else for them WWE Elite things. My grandson, bless his heart, he’s crazy ’bout these wrestling fellas. He keeps goin’ on and on about these WWE Elite figures and cards. He showed me this whole checklist, a whole bunch of ’em. 2023, a big year for them, I reckon.
So many of these things, you wouldn’t believe. That 2023 WWE Elite checklist, it’s longer than my grocery list, and I buy a lot of potatoes! He tried to explain it to me, bless his heart, but it was all a jumble of names and numbers. He says there’s a whole bunch of cards this year, 2023.
He kept sayin’ “Donruss.” What’s a “Donruss”? Sounds like somethin’ you’d put on your salad, but I reckon it ain’t. He says this 2023 Donruss Elite WWE checklist is the thing to have. So many cards. He was going crazy, just readin it. So, if you into them WWE fellas, better find one, I guess.
He said there are some special ones, shiny ones. And there are some with, what did he call them? “Autographs.” Like the wrestlers wrote on ’em themselves! Can you imagine? That’s somethin’, ain’t it? All these wrestlers in this 2023 WWE Elite checklist. Probably a lot of money, all that.
- Lots of cards, he says.
- Shiny ones, too.
- And some with writin’ on ’em!
He was pointin’ at the pictures, sayin’ this one’s rare, that one’s special. I don’t know, they all look like strong fellas to me. But he’s happy, and that’s all that matters. He says, Feb 21, that’s when it started. This whole 2023 WWE Elite thing.
These young folks and their things. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy WWE Elite checklists. We had sticks and rocks, and we were happy! But I guess times change. Gotta keep up, I reckon.
He says some are blue, these 2023 Donruss Elite WWE ones. Blue cards. He’s always sayin “blue.” Like that’s important. Kids these days, they got all kinds of words for things. All I know is, he’s happy lookin’ at that checklist.
He says there’s like, a hundred and fifty, maybe more, of these things in this 2023 WWE Elite checklist. That’s a lot of cards! Where’s he gonna put ’em all? Our house ain’t that big. Maybe he’ll stick ’em on the walls. That’d be somethin’, a wall full of wrestlers.
He mentioned somethin’ ’bout “Elite.” Says these WWE Elite things are special. Like, better than the others. I don’t know ’bout all that. They all look the same to me, just little men in tights. But hey, if it makes him happy, I ain’t gonna complain.
This whole 2023 WWE Elite checklist thing, it’s a big deal, I guess. Got everyone all riled up. Like a bunch of hens when you throw out the feed. Everyone’s tryin’ to get ’em, he says. It’s a craze, he calls it. A WWE craze.
Well, I guess that’s all I know ’bout this 2023 WWE Elite checklist. It’s a lot of somethin’ for somethin’ so little. But that’s the way it is these days, I reckon. Everything’s gotta be collected, gotta be special. Just like them WWE fellas, I guess. They are somethin special.
He’s always talkin about wrestling. The WWE. That’s all it is around here. Wrestling this, wrestling that. Now it is this checklist. This 2023 WWE Elite checklist. Keeps him busy, I suppose. Better than him gettin’ into trouble, that’s for sure.
These cards, they got all the fellas on ’em. Big ones, small ones, ones with masks. All part of this 2023 WWE Elite checklist, he says. He knows all their names, too. Rattles ’em off like he’s known ’em his whole life. It’s all about that WWE.
I told him, “Boy, you spend too much time thinkin’ ’bout these wrestlers.” But he just grinned and went back to his checklist. That 2023 WWE Elite checklist is like his bible. He reads it all the time. I guess that Donruss name is important, too.
