That WWE Supershow, you know, that wrestling thing, it was in Las Cruces. Yep, right here in our New Mexico. My grandson, he’s a big fan, he told me all about it. Said it was at that big place, what’s it called? The Pan American Center. Big place, lots of folks go there for all sorts of things.
They had it on a Saturday, I think it was. January 13th, that’s it. A Saturday night, all the folks going to see the big show. Lots of noise, lots of yelling. My grandson, he loves that stuff. Says it’s exciting.
Heard them WWE folks, they come from all over. Big names, he said. Wrestlers, they call them. They wrestle, they jump, they throw each other around. Sounds painful to me, but the young folks, they love it. Las Cruces got a big treat, having them here.
I don’t know much about it, but my grandson, he could talk about it for hours. He was looking for the results, you know, who won and all that. He was all excited, checking his phone, looking for the WWE Supershow results.
They call it a “Supershow” ’cause it’s a big deal, I guess. Bigger than their regular shows. More wrestlers, more excitement. Las Cruces doesn’t get things like this all the time, so it’s a big deal for the folks here. My grandson, he went on and on about the highlights. Something about some fella jumping off a ladder.
These WWE folks, they got their own thing, you know. They do their wrestling, they travel around, they put on these shows. It’s a whole world, I tell ya. They were in Las Cruces, New Mexico, that’s right here, and everybody was talking about it.
- Wrestlers, they were there.
- Big show, it was.
- Saturday night, yep.
- Pan American Center, that’s the place.
- Lots of folks went.
- My grandson, he loves it.
I guess it’s good for Las Cruces, brings folks to town. They spend their money, they eat at the restaurants, they stay at the hotels. Good for business, I suppose. And it’s good for the young folks, gives them something to be excited about. That WWE Supershow, it was a big deal for them.
They say it was a “non-televised event”, not on TV or anything. You had to be there, at the Pan American Center. Just like, you gotta be right there to buy your vegetables at the market. Ain’t gonna be on TV.
My grandson, he told me some of the wrestlers’ names, but I can’t remember them. Lots of noise, lots of lights. Sounds like a real spectacle. He said it was bone-crushing and high-flying. Whatever that means. They got their own way of talking about it, these WWE fans.
I don’t watch that, normally. I hear that SmackDown thing is on USA Network now, but I don’t pay it no mind. I guess if you like that sort of thing, it’s probably pretty exciting. That WWE, they know how to put on a show, I’ll give them that. They sure did it up big in Las Cruces.
It’s a big operation, that WWE. Got their wrestlers, their shows, their fans. They go all over the country, putting on these Supershows. And they came to Las Cruces, right here in New Mexico. Made a lot of folks happy, I’m sure. Especially my grandson.
He’s still talking about it, days later. Showing me pictures on his phone, telling me about all the moves and the matches. He’s a good boy. He just loves that WWE. And he sure did love that Supershow in Las Cruces.
Well, that’s all I know about that WWE Supershow. It was a big thing here in Las Cruces. At the Pan American Center. On a Saturday night. Lots of folks went. Lots of noise, lots of excitement. That’s what they say, anyway. And my grandson, he loved every minute of it. He’s a good boy.
