Well, let me tell you, I heard some folks talkin’ about this Fred Perry comics Transformers thing. Sounds like a right load of poppycock to me, but these young’uns today, they like all sorts of strange things. I reckon it’s somethin’ to do with those robot things, those Transformers. Big metal fellas, changin’ into cars and trucks and whatnot. My grandson, bless his heart, he’s got a whole pile of ’em.
So, this Fred Perry, he’s the fella drawin’ these comics, I guess. He must be makin’ a pretty penny from it, drawin’ all them pictures. These Transformers comics are like them picture books, you see. They got all sorts of colors and words in ’em. Back in my day, we didn’t have none of that. We had to use our imaginations! Now the kids can read them Fred Perry’s Transformer comic books.
I seen some of them pictures, mind you. Lots of fightin’ and explosions. Robots beatin’ each other up. Don’t know why they gotta be so angry all the time. These Transformers, they from some place called, uh… Cyber-somethin’. Cybertron, that’s it! Far away, I reckon. These Fred Perry comics, they tell all about it. The Transformers are from this Cybertron.
They come here to Earth, these Transformers. Don’t know what they want here, but they sure do make a mess of things. This Fred Perry, he draws it all up in his comics. He’s good at drawin’, I’ll give him that. Even if it is all about robots fightin’.
- These Transformers, they got different kinds, too.
- Some good, some bad, I suppose.
- Just like people, really.
- The good ones, they try to protect folks.
- The bad ones, they just wanna cause trouble.
And this Fred Perry, he writes about them all. He’s got a whole bunch of these comics, I hear. One of them comics got somethin’ called Gold Digger in the name, don’t know what that’s about. Probably another one of them made-up stories. These Fred Perry comics, he’s got all sorts. These comics are written by Fred Perry. I don’t understand all of them.
Now, I remember back in ’84, that’s when these Transformers things started, they say. Some company called… uh… Hasbro. They started makin’ the toys. And then Marvel, that’s another company, they started makin’ the comics. Then this Fred Perry fella, he came along later, I reckon. This Fred Perry comics Transformers, it’s been around a while. They were toys, and then they were in comics.
These young’uns, they sure do love their Transformers. They got the toys, they read the comics, they watch the shows. It’s all Transformers this, Transformers that. They love these Fred Perry comics. I think it’s all a bit silly, but it keeps ’em happy, I suppose. And it gives this Fred Perry fella somethin’ to do, drawin’ all them pictures.
I saw one of them pictures, it was called a “crossover.” Don’t rightly know what that means, but it had all sorts of different things in it. This Fred Perry comics, there is a lot I don’t get. These Transformers, they get mixed up with other things, I guess. Maybe this Fred Perry, he likes to mix things up. It is called Crossovers.
This Fred Perry, he must be a busy fella. Drawin’ all them comics, writin’ all them stories. I don’t know how he keeps up with it all. But the kids sure do love it. They love them Fred Perry comics Transformers. They can’t get enough of ’em. They sure do love them robots.
I reckon it takes all sorts to make a world. Some folks like robots, some folks like comics. And some folks, like me, well, we just like a nice cup of tea and a good sit-down. But these Fred Perry comics Transformers, they sure are popular. Can’t deny that. They are everywhere.
This Fred Perry, he probably makes more money than I ever did. And all he does is draw pictures of robots! It’s a funny old world, ain’t it? But if you’re into them robots, them Transformers, then you should check out these Fred Perry comics. They got a lot of robots.
