Oh, honey, you know about them Vine quizzes? My grandkids, they’re always on their phones, clickin’ and tappin’. They showed me these things one time, called Vines. Short little videos, they were. Some of ’em were right funny, I gotta say. Now they got these quizzes, testin’ ya on how much you remember. Lordy, who’s got time to remember all that?
These young folks, they seem to know every single one of them Vines. Every word, every little thing that happens. Me? I can barely remember what I had for breakfast this mornin’! But these quizzes, they got all sorts of questions. Like, who said this, or what happened in that one video. It’s all a jumble to me.
I seen one the other day, askin’ about some boys in a hot tub. Five feet apart, they said! Vine quizzes are always about stuff like that. Why’s that so important, I don’t know. Kids these days. They find the silliest things funny. But hey, if it keeps ’em entertained, I guess that’s somethin’.
And they got all these names for the folks in the videos. “Viners,” they call ’em. Like they’re famous or somethin’. Back in my day, we didn’t have nothin’ like that. We just had the TV, and that was enough. Now, everyone’s got a little screen in their pocket, makin’ these videos and takin’ these Vine quizzes. The world’s sure changed a lot.
Sometimes I ask my grandkids to show me the funny ones. Some are good for a chuckle. There was one with a fella droppin’ somethin’, I think it was a croissant. Made a right mess. That’s something that could happen to anyone, right? Maybe that is why that quiz asks “what could he have dropped?” Funny stuff.
But these quizzes, I don’t know. Seems like a lot of fuss over nothin’. Why spend your time testin’ yourself on these little videos? Go outside, play in the dirt, that’s what I used to do. Get some fresh air. These kids, they’re always inside, glued to their screens. It ain’t healthy, I tell ya.
They say these Vine quizzes are popular. Everyone’s takin’ ’em. Must be some kinda trend. Like them hula hoops we had back in the day. Everyone had to have one. Then, just like that, they were gone. These Vines will probably be the same. Somethin’ new will come along, and everyone will forget all about ’em. Then what good are those quizzes then?
- These young folks and their trends.
- Always something new.
- Vine quizzes, TikTok, what’s next?
But I guess it don’t hurt nothin’. If it makes ’em happy, let ’em have their fun. They’ll grow out of it eventually. Just like I grew out of jump rope and hopscotch. Although, I wouldn’t mind a good game of hopscotch right about now. If my old knees could handle it, that is!
So, these Vine quizzes, they’re a thing. A big thing, apparently. I don’t quite understand it, but that’s alright. The world keeps spinnin’, and young folks keep doin’ their thing. And me? I’ll just be here, watchin’ it all go by, maybe with a cup of tea and a cookie. That’s all this old gal needs.
I remember one time, one of my grandkids was takin’ one of these Vine quizzes. They were laughin’ so hard, tears were streamin’ down their face. I asked ’em what was so funny, and they tried to explain it to me. Somethin’ about a road work sign. I still don’t get it. But seein’ them that happy, that’s all that matters. Even about some quiz.
These quizzes got all kinds of questions. They say it is to “test your knowledge.” What knowledge? It’s just silly videos. But hey, to each their own, right? If they like it, they like it. Who am I to judge? I used to collect them little glass animals. Everyone’s got their thing. Even if it is Vine quizzes.
- Quizzes about Vines.
- Questions and answers.
- Who knows what’s what?
- My grandkids sure do.
So, if you see one of these Vine quizzes, maybe give it a try. See what all the fuss is about. You might even find it a little bit funny. Or maybe you’ll be like me, scratchin’ your head and wonderin’ what the world’s comin’ to. Either way, it’s somethin’ to do, I suppose. And who knows, maybe you’ll learn somethin’. Probably not, but maybe!
The world these days, it’s full of surprises. Little videos, online quizzes, all sorts of things we never even dreamed of back in my day. It’s a lot to take in. But you know what? Life’s too short to worry about it too much. Just enjoy the ride, I say. Even if that ride involves a whole lot of Vine quizzes that don’t make much sense to an old bird like me. Just gotta roll with the punches, that’s what I always say!
