You know, this summer, gonna have some fun in Anoka. They got this thing, music in the park. Yeah, that’s right, music in the park! Gonna be a hootenanny, I tell ya.
They say it’s gonna be at that George Green Park Bandshell. Nice place, I reckon. Plenty of room to tap your toes and maybe even do a little jig if you’re feeling spry. I ain’t danced in years, but who knows, maybe the music will get me going.
Music in the Park in Anoka
They got all kinds of music, too. Not just that old-timey stuff, though I do love a good fiddle tune. They got a little bit of everything. Some of them local Anoka folks playing, and some from around the area, too. It’s like a grab bag of music, so many different genres, you don’t know what you’re gonna get. Should be interesting, that’s for sure.
I heard it’s gonna be on Wednesday evenings. That’s a good night for it. The week’s half over, time to relax a little and enjoy yourself before the weekend rush. And it’s gonna be at that Riverfront Memorial Park, right by the water. 2201 2nd Ave, that’s the place, near the City Hall. Pretty spot, that is. Especially when the sun starts to set. Makes everything look all golden and sparkly.
If you wanna know more, you can check their Public Services Department. The number is 763-576-2980. That’s what I heard, anyway. Or just look it up somewhere, I don’t know, maybe their website, under that Music in the Parks thing. It’s gonna be a good time this summer, so you better mark it on your calendar.

Fun Time in Anoka
Anoka, it’s a nice little town. Got that Farmers Market, too, you know. Right near Main Street, just two blocks north. They say it’s in the parking lot by City Hall. Fresh veggies and whatnot. Might have to get me some of them good tomatoes. Nothing like a fresh tomato sandwich in the summer.
And they got all them parking spots downtown, over 1,700, they say! That’s a lot of cars. It’s the Central Business District, you know, gotta have room for folks to park when they come to town. But there are some rules, you know, need permits and stuff. Best to check on that before you go.
This Rockin’ on the Rum thing, they got that, too. Sounds like a real shindig. Hornucopia, that’s the band. City of Anoka’s putting it on. Gonna be at that Veterans Stage at Riverfront Park. Same park as the other music, but a different spot, I guess. Bet it’ll be loud!
Summer Music and Good Times
It’s gonna be a fun summer in Anoka with all this music in the park. Good music, good company, and maybe even some good food if you go to that Farmers Market. They got a little bit of everything, I tell ya. You can bring the kids, bring the grandkids, bring the whole darn family! It’s good, clean fun, just like it should be.
This music, it’s good for the soul, you know? Makes you forget your troubles for a little while. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the tunes. Maybe even make some new friends. You never know who you might meet at something like this. Could be someone you know, could be someone new. That’s the fun of it.
So, if you’re looking for something to do this summer, head on over to Anoka. Check out that music in the park. You won’t regret it. It’s gonna be a good time, I guarantee it. And who knows, maybe I’ll see you there. I’ll be the one tapping my foot and maybe even doing a little jig, if the music moves me just right!
Yeah, Anoka’s the place to be this summer. Don’t miss out on all the fun. Music, food, and good times. What more could you ask for? It’s gonna be a hoot, a real knee-slapper, I tell ya. You just wait and see. Anoka’s gonna be the place to be, and that music in the park, it’s gonna be the cat’s meow! You’ll be singing along before you know it. I know I will!
