Well, let me tell ya, honey, summer’s here and that means it’s time for that Apple Valley music in the park 2024 thing again. They call it “Music in Kelley Park,” but sometimes, ya know, they move it to that Bogarts place if the weather ain’t right. This year it is in 2024, so do not forget to join it. Lord knows what kinda music they’ll have, but it’s always a hoot.
Music in Kelley Park
That Kelley Park, it’s somethin’, I tell ya. That place hold lots of things in Apple Valley. They got all sorts of things happenin’ there. But this music thing, that’s the one everyone’s talkin’ about. Free music! Can ya believe it? The Apple Valley folks, they partner up with some Apple Valley Arts Foundation, a group that do good thing, and put on these concerts.
Folks come from all over for the music in the park. Lots and lots of people. You will see lots of familiar faces. They just love it. It starts up in June, I reckon. June 17th, that’s what I heard. They say it’s free, so you don’t need no money. But bring some if you get hungry or thirsty, they sell food and drinks, ya know.

They got these prize drawings too. At the end of the night. You gotta be there to win, though. I never won nothin’, but some folks do. Some people are just lucky, I guess. But that’s okay, it is still good to watch other people get price.
Apple Valley Concerts
Now, this ain’t the only music thing they got goin’ on in Apple Valley. Oh no, they got concerts all the time, it seems. Different places, different music. You gotta keep your ear to the ground to know what’s happenin’ when and where. That’s hard for an old lady like me.
They got these things called “passes” and “tickets” for some of ’em. I don’t rightly know what all that means. I guess you gotta pay for some of these other concerts. But this one in Kelley Park, that one’s free. Except the food and drinks like I said before.
I seen some folks talkin’ ’bout it on them internet machines. They say you can find out all the details there. Dates and times and all that. I don’t mess with them things, though. I just hear about it from the neighbors, or maybe I will see a sign up somewhere in town. If you know how to use the internet, just search Apple Valley music in the park 2024, you will find a lot of things.
But I tell ya, that music in Kelley Park, that’s the one to see. It is a good one. Even if you don’t know the music, it’s just nice to be out there with everyone. Seein’ all the folks, tappin’ your toes. It’s a good time.
Apple Valley Arts Foundation
This Apple Valley Arts Foundation, they do good work. They help put on this music thing, and I reckon they do other things too. Artsy stuff. I ain’t much for art myself, but some folks like it. My neighbor, she make some good paint, but I do not know if she is part of the foundation.
They seem like nice folks, though. Tryin’ to make Apple Valley a better place. Bringin’ people together with music. That’s a good thing, I suppose. Music can make people happy, right?
Things to do in Apple Valley
Now, besides this music in the park, there’s other things to do in Apple Valley. We got that park, of course. And we got some stores. Not like them big cities, but we got enough to get by.
Some folks like to go fishin’. We got a lake. I don’t fish myself, but I see folks out there. And we got that Bogarts place. They got bowlin’ and all that. Young folks like that.
Mostly, though, we just live our lives here. It’s a quiet town, for the most part. But that music in the park, that brings everyone out. It’s somethin’ special, that’s for sure.
So if you are free in June, come to Apple Valley and enjoy the music. Maybe you will like it.
I think I will go this year. I need get out of house for a little bit.
