Okay, so I’ve been itching to get my hands on some new WWE figures, and I finally made it happen. I saw online that Mattel was doing a live stream with the WWE, and they showed off a bunch of new stuff at Comic-Con. That got me hyped up!
First, I went down to my local toy store the day after the stream. I was hoping they had some of the new stuff. They didn’t have everything, but I did see a couple of cool Battle Packs.
Then I went and checked some of the bigger stores. They had a better selection, and some figures are only available at certain places. It was a hassle, but totally worth it. I spent a good few hours driving around.
What I Got
- The Rock vs. John Cena (WrestleMania 29) – This was a must-have for me. The details are sick, right down to Cena’s jorts.
- Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch (SummerSlam) – These two are amazing, and the figures totally capture their intensity. Bianca’s braid is on point!
- “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker (SummerSlam ’98) – A total classic! The nostalgia factor alone made this a no-brainer.
I ended up grabbing a few single figures too, like a new Roman Reigns and a retro Ultimate Warrior, because why not?
Setting up my display was the best part. I cleared off a shelf and started arranging the figures, recreating some of their iconic moments. It took a while to get it just right, but it was awesome seeing it all come together.
I posted some pics online, and a bunch of my friends hit me up wanting to come over and check them out. Looks like I’m hosting a little wrestling figure party this weekend! Gotta love it!
