I gotta tell you about this past Monday – it was wild! I went to the WWE Monday Night RAW event in Baltimore, and man, what a night. I’ve been to a few of these before, but this one was something else.
So, I got to the CFG Bank Arena, which is this huge place, all ready for a night of wrestling. It was August 5, 2024, and the show kicked off around 8 p.m. Eastern Time. I made sure to get there early to soak in the atmosphere, you know? The buzz in the air was electric. Everyone was pumped, and I was right there with them.
First off, seeing the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes in action was insane. He’s the Undisputed WWE Champion, and let me tell you, he lived up to the title. Then there was Bayley, the WWE Women’s Champion. She was fierce, no joke. And the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill? They were a powerhouse duo. Their energy was contagious.
- Cody Rhodes – The guy’s a legend in the making.
- Bayley – She’s got this fire that’s just amazing to watch.
- Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill – Together, they’re unstoppable.
We also got to see Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles. These guys are veterans, and they know how to put on a show. Each match had me on the edge of my seat. And then there was Nia Jax, the Queen of the Ring. She’s got this presence that just fills the arena. Kevin Owens was there too, and as always, he was entertaining as hell.
- Randy Orton – Smooth moves, every time.
- LA Knight – The charisma on this one is off the charts.
- AJ Styles – Always a class act.
- Nia Jax – Seriously, she dominated that ring.
- Kevin Owens – You can’t help but love the guy.
Main Event
But the highlight? The whole build-up to the Raw’s Netflix Premiere on January 6. They had CM Punk and Seth “Freakin” Rollins going at it, teasing what’s coming up. The tension between those two was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. It was the perfect tease for what’s coming on Netflix. I’m definitely tuning in for that.
Walking out of the arena that night, I was buzzing. It wasn’t just a show; it was an experience. The crowd, the lights, the wrestlers – everything was top-notch. If you ever get a chance to go to a WWE event, do it. Trust me, you won’t regret it. It’s a night of pure entertainment, and I’m already looking forward to the next one!
