Okay, so yesterday, I really got into this thing called “Kaishin comic”. I’d seen it around, you know, but never really dug in. It’s all about this guy, Kaito Kid, a thief, and this other guy, Shinichi, a detective. Turns out, they are cousins! Who knew, right?
So, I started looking around for some good stories. First I found out that this Kaito guy, his real name is Kaito Kuroba. And get this, he looks just like Shinichi! Apparently, the guy who created them, Gosho Aoyama, just copied the design over. Lazy, huh? Also, there’s this girl, Aoko Nakamori, who’s always around in the stories.

The First Encounter
I found this one story, “Revival Encounter,” It was pretty cool, all about their first meeting on April 1st. It’s like their anniversary or something.

Getting Shot
Then there was another one where Kaito gets shot after escaping from a rooftop. I thought it is over for him! Footsteps are closing in. I’m thinking, “Oh no, it’s the sniper!” Really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Found this other one, “All The Things You Do Not Know.” It’s a translation, so you know it’s gotta be good. It felt a little mysterious.

Spicy Story
There was this one called “Inside Invader,” which was a bit, um, spicy. Let’s just say it’s for grown-ups. It’s like an extra story that happens between some pages of the main story.

Waking Up
And then, “Good Morning.” Another translation, and it was pretty sweet. A nice way to start the day, you know?
I spent hours just reading these stories. Some are in Japanese, some are translated, some are just, you know, fan stuff. But it’s all pretty interesting if you’re into that detective-thief kind of thing. They call it “Kaishin” because it’s like, Kaito and Shinichi, get it? And people write all kinds of stories about them, even love stories! Crazy, right?
So yeah, that’s what I did yesterday. Dove deep into the Kaishin world. It’s a whole thing, let me tell you. If you’re bored and like reading, maybe check it out. You might end up spending hours on it like I did!
