Today, I want to talk to you about my experience with this thing called Hubbl TV. It’s a gadget that lets you watch stuff on your TV, kind of like those streaming boxes. I got one a while back because I wanted to watch my shows and movies without having to mess with a bunch of different apps and remotes.
So, the first thing I did was find a good spot for the Hubbl device near my TV. It’s pretty small, so it didn’t take up much space. Then, I grabbed the cables that came in the box and hooked it up to my TV. There was a power cable and an HDMI cable – pretty standard stuff.
Connecting to the Internet
- Next up was getting it online. I turned on the TV and followed the instructions on the screen.
- It asked me to choose my Wi-Fi network and type in the password.
- Once that was done, it did some updates and stuff. I just let it do its thing.
After it was all set up, I started playing around with the remote. It’s got a microphone button, which is cool. I pressed it and said “TV Guide,” and boom, there it was – a list of all the channels and shows. I could also use the remote to browse through different apps like Netflix and YouTube, all in one place.
Exploring Features
I spent a good chunk of time just clicking around and seeing what Hubbl could do. There’s a section for free-to-air TV, which is nice if you have an antenna. But I mostly use the streaming apps, so I signed into my accounts for those. It was a bit of a pain to type in my email and password with the remote, but I managed.
One thing I noticed is that Hubbl tries to recommend shows and movies based on what you’ve watched before. It’s not always spot-on, but sometimes it suggests something I actually want to see. There’s also a way to search for stuff by voice, which is handy when you don’t feel like typing.
I did run into a couple of hiccups along the way. Like, sometimes the Wi-Fi connection would drop out, and I’d have to go back into the settings and reconnect. And once, the whole thing just froze, and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it working again.
Overall, though, I’d say Hubbl TV is a decent little device. It’s not perfect, but it does make it easier to watch what I want without juggling a bunch of remotes and apps. Plus, it’s kind of fun to just talk to your TV and have it do what you say. I’ll keep using it and see how it goes.
Alright, that’s my experience with Hubbl TV so far. If you’ve used one of these things, let me know what you think. I’m always curious to hear other people’s take on this kind of tech.
