Okay, so, let’s talk about this whole “novel drama online” thing. I’ve been messing around with it for a while now, and I figured I’d share my experience, you know, just in case anyone else is thinking about diving in.
First off, I started by looking around for places where you could actually find these online novels. I mean, I knew they were out there, but where? So, I hit up Google, naturally. Typed in stuff like “web novels” and “online fiction” and a bunch of names popped up. Wattpad was the first one. Apparently, it’s pretty big, lots of stories, easy to use. They say writers can post their stuff for free. Sounds good, right?
Then there was this other site, Wuxiaworld. Never heard of it before, but it seems like it’s been around for a while. Lots of people talking about it. It seemed they started from there.
And, of course, Royal Road. That one kept coming up too. It’s apparently got a bunch of original stories on there. I didn’t even know there were so many places for this stuff. I found a blog that listed some favorite web novel sites. The list seems to have no order, it’s just a list. And people in the comments section seemed to agree. I bookmarked it, just in case.
I also learned that some of these web novel writers are making big money. I saw a news clip about a Filipino author who made millions of pesos writing online. Millions! That’s insane, right?
So, I decided to check out a few of these sites. I started with Royal Road, just because I liked the name. I spent some time browsing around, reading some of the synopses, you know, just getting a feel for it. There was a lot of fantasy stuff, which isn’t really my thing. But then I stumbled upon a section called “Drama.”
I clicked on it, and there were tons of stories in there. I read a few, and some of them were actually pretty good. Like, really good. I got hooked on this one story. I followed a story for a few weeks, but then I realized that it was time to try writing. Some sites say I can publish it for free.
My Writing Attempt
I figured, why not give it a shot? I had an idea for a story, a drama, and I started writing. I didn’t really have a plan or anything, I just kind of went with it. I wrote a few chapters, and then I decided to post them on Wattpad. It was pretty easy to do, actually. Just create an account, upload your story, and boom, you’re published.
I didn’t expect much to happen, but then, people started reading it! And commenting! It was crazy. Some people really liked it, some people didn’t, but hey, that’s the internet, right? I kept writing, kept posting. And the story actually went somewhere. It had a beginning, a middle, and an end. I finished it. It felt really good to complete something like that, you know?
I’m not saying I’m gonna be the next big thing in online novels. I’m not making millions of pesos or anything. I might try out some of the other sites, like Royal Road, maybe even that Wuxiaworld one. Who knows. But for now, I’m just enjoying the process. It’s fun, it’s a good way to kill time, and who knows, maybe one day I’ll actually write something really good.
So, yeah, that’s my experience with this whole “novel drama online” thing. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m still on it. If you’re thinking about trying it out, I say go for it. You might surprise yourself.
- Just start writing, don’t overthink it.
- Find a site you like, there are plenty out there.
- Don’t be afraid to put your work out there.
- And most importantly, have fun!
That’s it for now. Maybe I’ll update this later with more of my adventures in the world of online novels. We’ll see. Peace out.
