Okay, so yesterday I was messing around and decided to make a “Funny Face” movie poster. First, I hunted for some inspiration. You know, just browsed around to see what kind of funny face posters were already out there. I typed in a few search terms and scrolled through a bunch of images.
I found some pretty cool stuff, mostly fan-made posters, or custom designs from artists. Lots of creative people out there! These gave me a good starting point.
Then, I started to think about what kind of image I wanted for my poster. Did I want a real photo? A cartoon? Something abstract? I considered a bunch of different styles. Ultimately, I figured that since it is a funny face, it might be nice to start with a real photo to make it more relatable.
After I decided on the style, I started putting the poster together. I opened up my trusty old image editor, and just start to move things around, added some text, messed with the colors, and just generally experimented until I got something I liked.
Key Steps I Took
- Brainstorming: Looked at existing “funny face” posters to get ideas and see what’s popular.
- Conceptualizing: Decided on a general style and theme for the poster.
- Designing: Used an image editor to create the poster.
- Iterating: Experimented with different layouts, colors, and text until I was happy with the design.
It took me a couple of hours, and there were definitely moments where I thought about scrapping the whole thing. But I kept at it, and in the end, I was pretty pleased with the result. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely funny, and it’s something I made myself, which is always cool.
It’s not going to win any awards, but it was a fun little project, and maybe it’ll inspire someone else to make their own funny face poster. That’s all I got for today. See ya!
