Man, I gotta tell you about this wild ride I went on today. So, I’m a huge fan of “The Boys,” right? That show is just nuts, in the best way possible. Anyway, I heard about this comic called “Herogasm” that’s supposed to be even crazier than the show. Naturally, I had to check it out.
First thing I did was fire up my computer. You know, the usual routine. I start searching around to see where I can find this thing. I know there is an episode called “Herogasm” in the third season of The Boys released in 2022. But I want to find something different and more shocking, which is the comic book online.
After a bit of digging, I found out it’s actually a six-issue mini-series, a spin-off from the main “The Boys” comic. This made it even more interesting. It’s written by Garth Ennis, and illustrated by John McCrea and Keith Burns, those names ring a bell from somewhere. I guess they’re pretty big in the comic book world.
Then the real hunt began. I wanted to read this thing, and I wanted to read it online. I started sifting through some, uh, less reputable corners of the internet. I figured that’s where something like “Herogasm” would be hiding, and I wasn’t wrong.
I finally stumbled upon a site. It had the whole six-issue series, and it was scanned and uploaded. I settled in, ready for whatever insanity was about to unfold.
Here’s what I found after reading it.
- The comic is wilder than the show.
- The Deep doesn’t speak much in it.
- It’s a spin-off, set between issues #30 and #31 of “The Boys.”
- The story is about the Boys infiltrating a superhero party.
Let me tell you, it was a wild read. Way more explicit than the show, that’s for sure. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. But if you’re a fan of “The Boys” and you’re looking for something even more over-the-top, “Herogasm” is where it’s at. Just be prepared for, well, a lot of stuff you won’t see on TV.
It was one heck of an afternoon. I definitely feel like I need to go read a nice, wholesome book now to cleanse my brain. But hey, no regrets. I got to experience the full-on craziness of “Herogasm.”
