Well, howdy there! Let me tell ya ’bout this “Breaking Boundaries Comic Mandologica” thing. I ain’t no fancy writer or nothin’, but I’ll tell ya what I know, the way I know how.
What’s this Mandologica All About, Anyways?
So, this Mandologica fella, or maybe it’s a gal, I dunno. They make this comic, see? It’s called “Breaking Boundaries.” Sounds kinda wild, right? Like bustin’ outta fences or somethin’. From what I gather, it’s about folks doin’ things they ain’t supposed to, pushin’ limits. Maybe like sneakin’ cookies before supper, but prob’ly more excitin’ than that.
This Mandologica, they draw pictures, lots of ’em. And they put words with the pictures, makin’ a story. Kinda like them picture books my grandbaby likes, but for grown-ups, I reckon. Cause they say it’s got “hot stories” and “exciting plots.” Hot, like a summer day? Or maybe hot like… well, you know. I ain’t gonna spell it out for ya. And plots? Sounds like plantin’ corn, but I bet it ain’t about that at all.
Where Can You Find This Comic Stuff?
- Seems like they got a Twitter. You know, that bird thing folks chatter on. It’s somethin’ like this: */mandologica. I ain’t got no use for that bird chatter myself, but you youngsters seem to like it.
- Then there’s this Insta-somethin’. Insta-gram, they call it. Pictures, mostly. Like a photo album, but on that there computin’ machine. It’s somethin’ like: */mandologicaart. Pretty pictures, I guess. But I like lookin’ at real things, not pictures on a screen.
Exclusive Stuff? For Payin’ Folks?
Now, here’s where it gets tricky. Seems like some of this comic stuff ain’t free. You gotta “subscribe,” they say. Like joinin’ a club or somethin’. And then you get the “exclusive content.” Like secret recipes, but for comics. They said somethin’ ’bout “Breaking Boundaries Comic: CH7 (Page 121-130)” bein’ exclusive. CH7? What’s that, a TV channel? And pages 121 to 130? Must be a long story, huh?
I reckon they need to make a livin’, just like the rest of us. Can’t be drawin’ pictures all day for free, can ya? But payin’ for stories? Seems kinda funny to me. Back in my day, stories were free. Grandpappy used to tell ’em ’round the fire, no chargin’ a dime.
Community and All That Jazz
They talk ’bout a “community” too. Like a town meetin’, but online. They want you to “join the community” to “add your comment.” Comment on what, I wonder? The pictures? The story? And if you’re already a “deviant,” you gotta “log in.” Deviant? Sounds like trouble to me. But maybe it just means you’re one of them regular folks who reads the comic.
And there’s somethin’ ‘bout a “Team” and a “Community Group” for “updates and activities.” Sounds like a bunch of busybodies, if you ask me. Always gotta be doin’ somethin’, can’t just sit and enjoy a good story.
The Artist, MandoLogica
This Mandologica, they say they’re an artist. Likes “creating hot stories with exciting plots and characters development.” Sounds like fancy talk to me. But I guess it just means they like makin’ up stories and drawin’ the folks in ‘em. And they hope you “like and support” their work. Well, that’s what everyone wants, ain’t it? A little appreciation for what ya do.
The Background and Chillpeach
There’s some mention of “Credit BG : Chillpeach / @chillpeach”. BG? I reckon that’s Background. So maybe this Chillpeach fella helped with the drawin’ in the back. Like paintin’ the sky and the trees. It takes a village, they say. Even for makin’ comics, I guess.
Overview: It is the story
And at the end they say, “Overview : It is the story.” Well, ain’t that the truth? It all comes down to the story, doesn’t it? No matter how fancy the pictures or how many folks are involved, it’s the story that matters. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you think. That’s what a good story does. And maybe this Mandologica fella, or gal, has got a good story to tell. I wouldn’t know, I ain’t read it. But you young folks, you go ahead and see for yourselves.
So, that’s the long and short of it, as best as I can tell ya. This “Breaking Boundaries Comic Mandologica” is a story with pictures, some for free, some you gotta pay for, and a whole bunch of folks talkin’ ‘bout it online. If you like that sort of thing, go on and have a look. Me? I’ll stick to my TV shows and gossipin’ with the neighbors. At least I can understand what they’re talkin’ ‘bout.
