You know what I heard about the other day? This thing called Flying Sparks comic. Sounds crazy, right? Sparks flying and all that. Makes me think of old Bessie, our cow, kicking up a fuss when we tried to milk her. Anyway, this ain’t about cows, it’s about this Flying Sparks thing.
So, I heard it’s some kind of story, like them comic books my grandson reads. But this one, they say it’s special. No fancy stuff like some folks getting bit by some bug or falling into some goo. Nope, this one’s different. More down to earth, I reckon.
They say there’s this girl, a main gal in this Flying Sparks. And you know what, they write her good. Not like them other stories where the girls are just there to look pretty. This one, she’s got spunk. Reminds me of myself when I was younger, always getting into scrapes.

Now, I heard some folks comparing this Flying Sparks to that Spider fella and that Bat guy. You know, the ones with the secret lives and the lovey-dovey stuff. Sounds messy if you ask me. But, I guess some folks like that kinda drama. Like my neighbor, Mabel, always glued to her soap operas. This Flying Sparks, it’s got that kinda thing, they say.
This one fella, some Jon, he’s the one who wrote this whole thing. Seems like he knows what he’s doing. People are saying good things about him, ‘specially how he writes these girls. Makes ’em feel real, not like them cardboard cutouts you see in some stories. Like real folks, with real problems.
I heard this ain’t the only thing this Jon wrote. He got other ones, this one says. Something about a revolution thing. Another one about death. Death and revolutions! Mercy, it’s a lot to take in. Guess this Jon likes to keep busy, huh?
Now, if you’re the type who likes them stories with a bit of heart and a whole lotta punching and kicking, then this Flying Sparks comic might be for you. Me? I prefer a good knitting session, but to each their own, I always say.
They say you can find this thing, this comic, updated every week. Wednesdays, I think. Sometimes things happen and it is not on time. But mostly Wednesdays. Like when old man Johnson promised to fix my fence every Wednesday but only showed up once a month. Life happens, I suppose.
So, there you have it. That’s what I heard about this Flying Sparks. Sounds like a whole lot of something, don’t it? If you’re into that sort of thing, you might wanna check it out. Me? I’m gonna go see if Bessie needs her hooves trimmed. Now that’s what I call real excitement.
This whole thing got me thinking, though. Maybe I should write my own story. About the time I wrestled a raccoon for a pie. Now that was a story! Maybe I’ll call it “Flying Crust.” What do you think? Sounds catchy, right?
Flying Sparks comic is like that Spider-Man and Bat-Man stuff. Full of drama with the girls they love. This one is a good comic, they say. You should read. But maybe read when not so busy. Got to do your chores first.
You like comics? You like superheroes? You like stories about people with good hearts? Maybe you will like this Flying Sparks. That Jon, he knows how to write good. Not like some other stories. This one got real people, real problems. You know what I mean?
Anyway, that’s all I got to say about that. Gonna go check on my chickens now. Make sure them foxes ain’t been sniffing around. You can’t trust them foxes, you know. Just like you can’t always trust what you read in them comics. But this Flying Sparks, I think that one is worth check out.
You know, in my day, we didn’t have these fancy comics. We had stories. Told around the fire. About ghosts and heroes and such. Maybe this Flying Sparks is like that. A story for these times. A story to keep you company on a cold night. Or a hot afternoon, like today.
Got to be careful, though. These comics, they can take over your life. Like my grandson, always got his nose in a book. Needs to get outside more, get some fresh air. But that’s young folks for you. Always with the gadgets and the stories. This Flying Sparks comic. Remember that name.
