Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to get into some classic horror comics, and “Jason vs. Leatherface” has been on my list for a while. Today, I finally decided to dive in and read it online. Let me tell you about my little adventure.
First, I started to look for the comic. I remembered seeing something about it a while back, maybe on some archive site? I found a site with an entry for “Jason vs. Leatherface” and it said “Addeddate 2016-12-25.” This is probably the one.
Then, I started to look for a place to read it. I mean, it’s gotta be out there somewhere, right? I stumbled upon this site that had a huge collection of comics. It looked pretty legit, and they had all sorts of titles, so I figured they must have “Jason vs. Leatherface.”
And they did! It wasn’t too hard to find once I knew where to look. The site had a simple interface and it was easy to use. I just found it and started reading.
The story was pretty straightforward, just like I expected. Jason’s lake, Crystal Lake, gets drained, and he escapes. He ends up running into the Sawyer family. Yeah, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre people! They did some kind of toxic waste thing and picked up Jason.
Reading through it, I couldn’t help but chuckle at some parts. There’s this one scene where the Hitchhiker and the Cook are praising Jason’s killing skills and making fun of Leatherface. I mean, come on, that’s just hilarious. One of the characters even says, “hillbilly jason’s, l freakish a ^ skull. ^ r l mean, really.” I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. And Jason, you know, the big bad killer from Friday the 13th, actually starts learning from the Sawyer family. It’s so wild!
I got so into it that I read the whole thing in one sitting. It’s a limited 3-issue story, so it’s not too long. I saw a comment that said, “Bubba was one hell of a killer, but Jason’s strength, HAX, and sheer durability managed to put an end to the Texan cannibal.” That got me even more interested in how it ends.
Overall, it was a fun read. If you’re into these horror icons, you should definitely check it out. It’s a simple story, but it’s got some great moments, and it’s just cool to see these two legendary killers together.
