Alright, let’s talk about this whole Lady Death comic box thing. It wasn’t something I planned, really. I just stumbled upon it while I was browsing through some online stores the other day. I’ve always been a fan of comics, especially the darker, more mature ones, and Lady Death has been on my radar for a while.
So, I saw this “Lady Death Lost Souls” collection box. Apparently, it’s got a bunch of covers from issues #0, #1, and #2. Seemed like a good way to get a chunk of the series all at once. I did a bit of digging, looked at some pictures online, and it looked pretty slick. The artwork is just killer, you know? Very detailed, very intense.
I ended up ordering the box. I mean, why not, right? Treat yourself and all that. Plus, it’s a limited edition kind of deal, so I figured it might be worth something down the line. Not that I’m planning on selling it, but hey, it’s always good to have options.
When the box arrived, I was pretty stoked. It’s bigger than I expected, and it’s got this cool window thing where you can see the comics inside. The background is this fiery, inferno-looking thing, which fits the whole Lady Death vibe perfectly.
- I carefully opened it up.
- I took out each comic.
- I just flipped through the pages, just admiring the artwork.
I haven’t had time to actually read them all yet, but I’m definitely looking forward to it. It’s like having a little piece of comic book history right there in my room.
I also found out that there’s this whole world of Lady Death stuff out there. Original art, special editions, you name it. I even saw this one page from “The Wild Hunt #3” that was never published, drawn by Jim Cheung. It’s crazy to think about all the work that goes into these things.
And then there’s this website, “Coffin Comics Shop,” that’s all about Lady Death and other characters created by this Brian Pulido guy. They’ve got comics, prints, all sorts of cool stuff. I might have to check that out more later.
Oh, and get this – there’s a new Lady Death comic coming out soon, the “Malevolent Decimation #1” Todd McFarlane Edition. It’s dropping on October 4th, 2024, and it’s only 25 bucks. I might just have to snag that one, too.
Conclusion
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Lady Death comic box. It’s been a fun little ride so far, and I’m excited to dive deeper into this whole universe. Who knows what other cool stuff I’ll find? It is pretty cool, right?
