Well, let me tell you, this old gal has seen some things in her day. But these days, everyone’s talkin’ ’bout these free mind control comics. Now, I ain’t one for fancy words, but I reckon it’s like those picture stories, you know? Comics, they call ’em. And this mind control thing, well, it sounds a bit spooky if you ask me.
These young folks with their fancy phones, they’re always lookin’ at somethin’. And now they say there’s these free comics about controllin’ minds. Sounds like a load of hogwash to me. Back in my day, we read comics about superheroes and funny animals. But mind control? That’s some newfangled nonsense. They say you can find these things everywhere on that interwebs thing. You know, that thing everyone’s staring at all day. Biggest place they say has Marvel and DC Comics, whatever those are. I hear that you can find free mind control comics all over the place.

I heard some folks talkin’ at the market, sayin’ there’s this Erin fella. Seems he’s in a whole heap of these mind control stories. 567, they said! Can you imagine? That’s a lot of stories. And somethin’ about “Saint James Infirmary.” Sounds like a place for sick folks. I don’t see what that has to do with mind control, but what do I know? Kids these days, they come up with the strangest things. They say he first showed up in somethin’ called “Twenty Minutes on Weekends.” Don’t make a lick of sense to me, but there you have it.
Now, I remember when comics were just a few cents. You’d get ’em at the corner store, along with your penny candy. These days, they say these free mind control comics are everywhere, just floatin’ around in that cyber world. There is a place call “Hoopla”, I think, can find some comics there. They say there’s somethin’ called “Free Wifi” too, and a gal named Daphne. Sounds like a pretty name. She must be one of them city folks. And this other fella, “crazydorian”. These names they come up with! I swear, it’s like a whole different language.
I even heard you can read some comics online for free! Free mind control comics. Imagine that. Some people like to make up their own stories with the pictures. These young’uns are always thinkin’ up new things. I reckon that’s alright. Keeps ’em busy, I suppose. But me? I prefer a good story with a beginnin’ and an end, not this jumbled-up stuff.
They say there’s a website, the “Number One Site” for these mind control comics. Can you believe it? Number one! They even update it four times a week. That’s more often than I change my apron! There’s all sorts of these comics, they say. Ones about “Upload” and who knows what else. It’s all a bit much for this old gal. I just want a nice cup of tea and a good story about a cat or a dog, not this mind control business.
And don’t even get me started on these GoComics things. They got thousands of them, they say. “Calvin and Hobbes,” “Baby Blues.” I saw a comic about a baby once. It was kinda cute, I guess. But I don’t need thousands of ’em. Just one or two is enough for me. These free mind control comics are just too much to keep track of, there are so many different free mind control comics out there! I heard that to make these comics you need to have a good story and also some characters. I suppose that makes sense.
They say you can find these free mind control comics anywhere on that internet thing. Just search for ’em, and they pop right up. It’s like magic, I tell ya. But not the good kind of magic, like pullin’ a rabbit out of a hat. This is the spooky kind, the kind that makes you wonder what’s goin’ on in those young folks’ heads. Maybe they’re bein’ mind-controlled by these comics! Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
Anyways, I reckon I’ve rambled on long enough. Just remember, these free mind control comics might sound fun, but be careful what you read. You never know what kind of ideas those things might put in your head. And if you see Erin, tell him his grandma’s lookin’ for him.
