Alright, let’s talk about them… whatchamacallit… blank comic covers, yeah, that’s it. Now, I ain’t no fancy comic book expert or nothin’, but I seen a thing or two, and I can tell ya, these blank covers, they somethin’ else.
You know, back in my day, comics, they came as they was. Pictures and stories all done up for ya. But these young folks, they always gotta be different, don’t they? So now they got these comics with nothin’ on the cover. Just plain white, like a fresh sheet on the bed. At first, I thought, “What in the tarnation is this? They sellin’ us half a comic now?” But then I started seein’ what people was doin’ with ’em.
Turns out, these blank comic book covers are like… like a blank piece of paper for drawin’. You get yourself some pencils, some markers, whatever you fancy, and you can make your own cover. It’s like them coloring books, but way fancier, I reckon. I seen some folks drawin’ superheroes, some drawin’ monsters, and some even drawin’ their own families on them covers! It’s kinda neat, if you ask me. It’s like makin’ your own little piece of art.
- You can draw whatever you want.
- It’s a good way to pass the time.
- Kids seem to like it.
Now, where do you get these blank comic covers? Well, I hear tell they got ’em on somethin’ called the “e-bay.” That’s where them city folks buy all sorts of things. Sounds complicated to me, but I guess if you got one of them fancy phones or computers, you can find it. And I guess them comic book stores, the ones with all the shiny books and figurines, they might have ’em too.
I also heard there’s these blank sketch covers. Sound about the same, just a different name, I suppose. Them young folks and their fancy words! But from what I gather, these sketch covers are the same deal – empty covers just beggin’ for you to draw on ’em. I saw one with a feller, dressed up like a bat, they called him “Bat-somethin’,” I think? Anyways, on this Bat-feller cover was supposed to be that crazy lookin’ clown, but the book was just blank. So you could make that crazy clown look just how you wanted it or draw somethin’ completely different. It’s up to you, see?
And you know what else? These ain’t just for kids, mind you. I seen grown men, and women too, fussin’ over these blank comic covers, plannin’ out their drawings like they was gonna paint the Sistine Chapel or somethin’. It’s kinda heartwarming, to be honest. Seein’ folks gettin’ creative and havin’ fun. Reminds me of when I used to make quilts out of scraps. Same kinda idea, I guess – takin’ somethin’ plain and makin’ it special.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do, or you got a young’un that likes to draw, these blank comic covers might be just the ticket. They ain’t gonna break the bank, and they might just spark a little creativity. And who knows, maybe you’ll end up drawin’ the next great comic book cover. Wouldn’t that be somethin’? Just remember to have fun with it. That’s what it’s all about, ain’t it? And don’t forget to keep them safe. Them comic storage boxes, the ones that looks like a shoebox but longer, they work just fine.
These comic books, now they are a big thing. They sell these things everywhere, even in a shop. But not just a store that sells just comic books. I saw one store that sells old comic books. Some old comic books are worth a lot. I am too old. I can’t start selling comic books now.
And them comic book companies, they big too. They make lots of money. This here “Image Comics,” I heard they one of the big ones. I also heard that there are so many different comic books out there that if you wanted to, you could just read comic books all day long and never run out. That sound good to you?
Anyhow, that’s my two cents on these blank comic covers. Like I said, I ain’t no expert, but I can see that they’re somethin’ special. They let folks use their imaginations and create somethin’ unique. And in this world, I reckon we could all use a little bit more of that.
