Okay, so let me tell you about this Pakistani drama, “Mein,” that I’ve been following. The last episode, number 32, just aired, and boy, was it a ride!
I started watching “Mein” because the storyline seemed interesting. It’s about these two rich folks who are super proud and individualistic. They both get screwed over in love because of their families, and then, bam, they end up together. Sounded like a good recipe for some drama, right?
So, I watched episode after episode. The acting, for the most part, was pretty solid. Zaid, this guy, he was one of my favorites. I followed the drama like crazy. The story was about them finding themselves, or something like that. There was this other character, too, I didn’t care for her acting much. But hey, you can’t win ’em all.
Then came the final episode. I was pumped! I was like, “Alright, let’s see how this all wraps up!” Zaid, he finally goes off on his dad, for all the bad things that he did to Ayra. He brings the cops and gets his brother-in-law and Mubashira’s brother arrested. It was wild!
- First, I got hooked by the premise.
- Then, I stuck around for the acting, mostly.
- Next, I got invested in the characters, especially Zaid.
- Finally, the ending hit, and… well…
Honestly, the ending? It felt like a letdown. I mean, nobody got a happy ending. And then there’s talk of a sequel? Like, what? That kind of ruins the whole “this is the end” vibe, you know? It’s like the writers wanted us to feel something, but it just didn’t land for me. I’m still scratching my head over it, to be honest.
My Final Thoughts
Overall, “Mein” had potential. Good subject matter, mostly good acting, but the direction? I don’t know, man. It just felt off. Like, they had all the ingredients for a great dish, but they messed up the cooking somehow. It was okay, but not good.
