Okay, so, I wanted to make a poster for the movie “Fury.” You know, the one with Brad Pitt and the tank? Yeah, that one. I’m not a professional designer or anything, but I like messing around with this stuff.
First, I needed to find a good picture. I rummaged around and saw a bunch of stills from the movie. After looking for a while, I picked one that I thought looked pretty cool – it had the tank and the whole crew, looking all serious and battle-hardened.
Next, I had to decide on the size. I didn’t want something huge, but I also didn’t want it to be too small. After measuring my wall, I decided on 27×40 inches. That seemed like a good size for a movie poster.
Then came the printing. Now, this was a bit tricky. I read somewhere online that you gotta use good quality paper. I saw something about “Premium Canvas (300 gsm)” which sounded fancy, so I thought, why not? I mean, I wanted it to look decent, right? Apparently, this canvas stuff is better than regular poster paper, and it has this fabric-like feel to it. I hoped this would be cool.
The other thing I saw online was about the print quality. It said something about this poster having “superior sharpness, fine detail, and vivid colors” compared to some other printing options. Sounded good to me. I wanted the colors to pop and the details to be sharp, like you could almost feel the grit of the battlefield, you know?
So, I chose the canvas, decided on the size, and hoped for the best with the colors and sharpness. I placed my order.
After a few days, it finally arrived. I was so excited. I carefully unrolled it and… it looked awesome! The colors were really bright and the picture was super clear. It really did look like a professional movie poster. I was pretty proud of myself, to be honest.
I hung it up on my wall and it instantly made the room look cooler. It’s got that whole war movie vibe, and every time I look at it, I think about the movie and how much I enjoyed it.
So yeah, that’s how I made my “Fury” movie poster. It wasn’t too hard, and it was actually a lot of fun. Maybe I’ll try making posters for other movies I like. Who knows?
