So, I’ve been meaning to talk about this whole “film d’ermballage laval” thing for a while now. It’s been quite the journey, let me tell you.
It all started a few months back when I stumbled upon some online chatter about the best dermatologists in Laval. I had some skin issues I wanted to get checked out, nothing too serious, but you know, it’s always good to get a professional opinion.
The first thing I did was check out RateMDs. It’s kind of like the go-to place for doctor reviews. I saw a bunch of names, but the reviews were all over the place. It was hard to tell who was actually good.
Then I moved on to Yelp. Yeah, Yelp has doctor reviews too. I found a few places that looked promising, like MD-Plus and some individual doctors like Dr. Dumais Gaston and Dr. Smoley Lester B. They had some pretty good reviews, but I wasn’t completely sold.
Next up was this site called StarOfService, which apparently lists the top 100 professionals in various fields. I figured I’d give it a shot. Their list of dermatologists in Laval was similar to what I found on Yelp, but it had a few new names. Still, I wanted to explore more options.
I spent hours going through different websites, comparing reviews, and trying to get a feel for each dermatologist. Some places, like Peau and The Private Dermatology Clinic, sounded fancy, but I wanted to make sure they were actually good and not just expensive. Then there’s the clinic named Dermacure, I had mixed feelings about it.
- MD-Plus: Seemed to be a popular choice, with lots of reviews.
- Dr. Dumais Gaston: Had good reviews, but not many.
- Dr. Smoley Lester B: Similar to Dr. Dumais, good but not outstanding.
- Peau: Sounded fancy, but was it worth the hype?
- The Private Dermatology Clinic: Same question as Peau, was it really that “private”?
I also checked out some places that offered skin care services, like Salon Pretty and Tran Ongles Spa. They seemed more focused on beauty treatments than medical dermatology, but I kept them in mind just in case.
Narrowing It Down
After all that searching, I finally narrowed it down to a few places: MD-Plus, Dr. Dumais Gaston, and Dr. Michel Sakellarides. They all seemed reputable, and the reviews were mostly positive.
Finally, I decided to go with MD-Plus. They had the most consistent positive reviews, and their website looked professional. I booked an appointment, and the rest, as they say, is history.
The whole experience was a bit of a rollercoaster, but I’m glad I took the time to do my research. Finding a good dermatologist is important, and I feel like I made the right choice. It’s a bit of a hassle, but hey, that’s life, right?
