Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here ACHS Music thing. It’s a big deal, ya know? Lots of kids and music and stuff.
First off, they got all sorts of music programs. Like, Marching Band. Them kids, they march around and play them horns and drums. It’s loud, real loud, but kinda fun to watch. They got them fancy uniforms too, all shiny and bright. Then there’s Color Guard. Them girls, they twirl them flags and rifles. Pretty as a picture, they are. Keeps ’em busy, that’s for sure. And don’t forget the Concert Band, them kids play all sorts of tunes, slow and fast. And Jazz, well, that’s just fancy music, if ya ask me. Toot-toot and all that jazz!
They do a whole heap of events too. They got this thing called the Camarillo Field Tournament. Bands from all over come and play. It’s a big to-do. Lots of folks come to watch. And then there’s the Camarillo Concert Festival. More music, ya know? They play indoors for that one. Fancy-schmancy.
And they keep folks in the know, too. They got meetings, they call ’em ACHS Wolf Pack Music, Inc. meetings. Sounds important. They talk about all the music stuff, I guess. And they put out a schedule, so ya know when things are happenin’. Like, they had a Pink Out Game against Napa HS back in October. That’s when everyone wears pink, ya see, for a good cause, I reckon. And they always got somethin’ comin’ up. They sayin’ November 2024 is gonna be a busy month. So, ya gotta keep yer eyes peeled.
- Marching Band – Them kids march and play loud music.
- Color Guard – Pretty girls twirlin’ flags and such.
- Concert Band – They play all kinds of tunes.
- Jazz Band – Fancy music, ya know?
They also got this thing called Achs Music. It’s like, the whole shebang. All the music stuff together. And they got a website, I hear. ACHS *, somethin’ like that. They even got an address, 3000 Newell Drive, American Canyon, CA. But I ain’t never been there. Too far for this old lady.
And them kids, they’re on social media too. 402 Followers, 97 Following, somethin’ like that. I don’t know much about that stuff, all them phones and computers. But the young’uns, they love it.
They also got somethin’ called Achs Camarillo, and Achs Schedule and Achs Band Calendar. Sounds like they got everything planned out, them kids. Good for them. Keeps ‘em outta trouble, I say.
So, that’s what I know about ACHS Music. It’s a lot, I tell ya. But it’s good for the kids. Gives ’em somethin’ to do. And it’s nice to hear the music sometimes. Makes ya feel young again, even if it’s just for a little while.
And don’t forget, them music folks, they’re always lookin’ for help. Boosters programs they call ‘em. Guess they need folks to help out with all them events and such. So, if ya got some time and wanna help them kids, go ahead. They’d appreciate it, I’m sure.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about ACHS Music. It’s a good thing, that’s what I think. Keeps the kids busy and makes some nice noise too. Can’t ask for much more than that, can ya?
