So, I had this idea to combine two of my favorite things – brunch and live music. You know, get some good food in me while jamming to some tunes. I thought, “Why not? Let’s make a day of it!”
First things first, I had to find a spot. I searched for the best brunch places in Dusseldorf. I’m not familiar with that city, so I had to start from scratch. I read a bunch of reviews online, checked out some menus, you know, the usual drill. I was looking for a place with good food, obviously, but also a nice vibe. And of course, they had to have live music.
After some digging, I found a few places that looked promising. One place, Rosie’s, seemed like a solid choice, with good reviews about their food and a nice atmosphere. Dritan Alsela Coffee also caught my eye, as did Suli’s. *, Zicke, Velvet Collective, Tomo Caf, Kleinhaus, and Birdie Co. were also on my list. It’s tough to choose when you’ve got so many options, right?
I also tried to figure out what kind of music these places usually had. I mean, brunch with a guitar band is different from brunch with a DJ, you know? I’m open to anything, really, but it’s good to know what you’re getting into. I found out that many places offer different live music shows, and they have different styles. It depends on the day and their events, I guess.
Making the Decision
The next thing I did was I checked all the menus. It is a brunch, so the food had to be good. Most places had all the brunch classics: eggs, pancakes, some salads, and sandwiches. I am easy to please when it comes to food. If there are eggs, I am good.
Eventually, I decided to check out a place that had a jazz band playing. I like jazz, and I figured it would be a nice, chill way to spend a Sunday morning. I made a reservation online – gotta make sure you get a table, especially on weekends.
The day of, I got there and the place was already buzzing. The band was setting up, and the smell of coffee and bacon was in the air. I ordered some eggs benedict and a mimosa, because why not? It’s brunch!
The music started, and it was perfect. Just the right volume, not too loud that you couldn’t chat, but loud enough to enjoy. The food was delicious, the music was great, and the atmosphere was just right. It turned out to be a good choice. It is important to read reviews, guys.
I spent a couple of hours there, just soaking it all in. It was a great way to relax and enjoy a Sunday. And you know what? I think I found my new favorite way to do brunch.
- Find a place with good reviews. This is important, especially if you’re not familiar with the area.
- Check the menu. Make sure they have something you’ll like.
- See what kind of music they have. If you’re going for the music, you want to make sure it’s something you’ll enjoy.
- Make a reservation. Especially on weekends, brunch places can get crowded.
- Enjoy yourself! That’s the whole point, right?
I will keep on trying different brunch places with live music in Dusseldorf. There are still many places on my list, and I am determined to try them all. Anyway, that’s my story about my brunch and live music adventure. Hope you guys can find your own perfect brunch spot!
