Family Time

Or maybe we’d just sing it without no music at all. Didn’t matter. We’d all sing together, and that’s what counted. We had so much fun.
That’s what I miss the most, I reckon. Everybody being together. Now everybody’s all spread out. Got their own lives, their own families. It ain’t the same. But that’s life, I guess. Things change. Nothing’s gonna stay the same. So you just gotta make good memories, and that is enough.
But that song, it brings it all back. All them memories. Like it was just yesterday. I can close my eyes and see it all. Hear it all, too. All them voices, singing together. That is really the most wonderful part.
