Okay, so, today I’m gonna talk about something that’s been on my mind lately – the Calistoga Music in the Park 2024 schedule. I’ve been trying to get a handle on this thing, and boy, has it been a journey.
First off, I started where anyone would – just poking around online. I figured, how hard could it be to find a simple schedule, right? Well, it turns out it’s a bit more scattered than I anticipated. I started seeing mentions of this thing everywhere, snippets of information here and there. For example, I saw something about “Calistoga Concerts in the Park” happening on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and to bring your own blankets. Sounds cozy, I thought.
Then, I stumbled upon another piece that said the concerts are free, which is always a plus in my book. It also mentioned the year 2024, so at least I knew I was in the right ballpark. I mean, who doesn’t love a free concert series, especially in the summer?
I kept digging, and I found this one tidbit about a specific date: August 8th, 2024. It even had the time, 6:00 PM, and the location, Pioneer Park in Calistoga. The address was there too, some place called 1320 Cedar St, Calistoga, CA 94515. I even saw something about directions to a “Gigs Traveling Wilburys Revue” at the park. Sounds like a real hootenanny!
My next move was to get the precise schedule for July. I ran into a little event called “Friday Nights in the Park” with two bands playing each night! That sounded like a lot of fun. I jotted down that on July 5th, the “Second Street Band” would be playing from 6-7:30 p.m., followed by the “Soda Canyon Band” from 8-10 p.m. They said to bring low-back chairs and picnic baskets, or you could buy food and drinks there.
I also learned about a couple of the bands that might be playing. “Solsa” does Latin and R&B tunes, both originals and covers, and “Bautista” mixes samba rock, Latin rock, and funk rock. Sounds like they’ve got a little something for everyone.

And remember the BottleRock Napa Valley will start earlier this year, the beginning of June! Maybe I will go there too, who knows?
