Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this Boston Public TV series on DVD. You know, them city folk and their school problems, it’s somethin’ else.
First off, what’s all this fuss about DVDs anyway? Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy discs. We had a good ol’ TV, and that was that. But these young’uns, they gotta have everything digital. So, this Boston Public thing, it’s one of them school shows, you see. Lots of drama, like them kids always gettin’ into trouble. Teachers yellin’, students cryin’, the whole shebang.
I heard tell it’s a pretty good show, though. Folks say it’s got good actors and all. They talk fast and fancy, these city folks, but you get the gist of it. It’s about a high school in Boston, and all the stuff that goes on there. You got teachers tryin’ to teach, kids tryin’ to learn, and sometimes, they just butt heads. Sound familiar? Kids are kids, no matter where they are, I reckon.
- Now, if you’re lookin’ to buy this Boston Public on DVD, seems like eBay is the place to go.
- They got all sorts of sets, I hear. Some folks are sellin’ homemade ones, burnt onto them DVD-R things.
- Don’t expect no fancy packaging, though. It’s just the show, plain and simple.
- But then you got the real deal, the official sets. Them cost more, of course.
And let me tell ya, there’s a whole bunch of seasons. Seems like this show went on for a while. Folks was really into it, I guess. I heard they even cancelled it before it was really over. Left a couple episodes just hangin’ there, never even aired on TV. Can you believe that? Waste of good story, if you ask me.
Some folks say the quality of these DVDs is real good, even the homemade ones. Clear picture, good sound, the whole nine yards. And the acting, they say it’s somethin’ special. Real emotional, you know? Makes you feel for them teachers and them kids. It’s all about the struggles, they say. Struggles in school, struggles in life. We all got struggles, ain’t we?
The fella who made this show, David Kelley, he also made some other shows, like Ally McBeal and The Practice. Heard of them? City folk shows, all of ’em. Lawyers and such. But this Boston Public, it’s different. It’s about regular folks, teachers and students. And that’s what makes it so good, I reckon.
Now, if you’re gonna buy these DVDs, you gotta be careful. Make sure you’re gettin’ what you pay for. Some folks try to cheat ya, you know? Sell ya somethin’ that ain’t worth a dime. So, read the descriptions careful, and look at the pictures. And don’t be afraid to ask questions. Good sellers, they’ll answer your questions, no problem. And they’ll ship it to ya fast, too. Some even offer free shippin’, can you believe that? These city folk and their fancy ways.
So, that’s the lowdown on this Boston Public DVD set. If you like them school dramas, you might like this one. It’s got a bit of everything: happy, sad, funny, and everything in between. Just like life, ain’t it? And if you’re gonna buy it, well, eBay seems like the place to go. Just be careful, and don’t get ripped off. And remember, it ain’t nothin’ but a TV show, even if it is on them fancy new discs.
And one more thing, they say this show is like a real high school in Boston, with all the problems and all. Makes you think, don’t it? Kids these days, they got it tough. But then again, we all had it tough, one way or another.
So there you have it. My two cents on this Boston Public thing. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. Them TV shows ain’t gonna fill your belly, you know.
