Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this CTN Lifestyle TV schedule thing. I ain’t no fancy TV expert, but I know what I like to watch, and I reckon some of you do too.
So, what’s on this CTN Lifestyle channel, huh? Well, it’s a whole bunch of stuff, from what I can tell. They got them preaching shows. You know, the ones with the fellas hollerin’ about the good Lord. Some folks like that, some don’t. Me? I like a good sermon now and then, long as it ain’t too preachy, you know? They got this “Hour of Power” thing with Brother Dave Lombardi. He’s on bright and early at 7:30 am. If you’re up that early, good for you. I’m usually still tryin’ to get the chickens fed.
Then there’s the singing shows. Lots of singing. Country gospel, they call it. Now, that’s somethin’ I can get behind. Good ol’ fashioned music about Jesus and redemption. Makes you feel good, you know? They got all sorts of singers, some I know, some I don’t. But if they’re singin’ for the Lord, they can’t be all bad.
- They also got shows about fishing. Yeah, fishin’! I seen one called “Mossy Oak Fishing Tight Line TV.” Now, I ain’t much of a fisherwoman myself, but my husband, bless his heart, he loves to fish. He’d watch that show all day if I let him. Probably learn a thing or two, too. Maybe catch us somethin’ bigger than a minnow for once.
- And then there’s the travel shows. “Destined 2 Roam,” they call one of ’em. Shows folks goin’ all over the place, seein’ things I only ever dreamed of. Mountains and oceans and all that. It’s nice to see, even if I ain’t never gonna go there myself. Makes you appreciate the world, you know?
They got some other stuff too, like “Shop From Home”. Now, I don’t know about that. Seems like a waste of money to me. But I guess some folks like to buy things off the TV. To each their own, I always say. And they got them old shows too. Like “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet”. That one brings back memories, let me tell you. Used to watch it with my folks when I was just a little tyke.
Now, finding out what’s on when… that’s the tricky part. You gotta get yourself one of them TV guides, or somethin’. Or you can go online, I guess. My grandbaby showed me how to do that once. But it’s all a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me. I just like to turn on the TV and see what’s on. Surprise me, I say!
They show this CTN Lifestyle channel on a few different stations, it seems. WHNO and WHTN, somethin’ like that. Different numbers, dependin’ on where you live, I reckon. You gotta figure that out yourself. I ain’t your TV guide, you know?

Preachin’, singin’, fishin’, travelin’, and even shoppin’. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ wholesome to watch, somethin’ that won’t rot your brain, then give it a try.
