Alright, so, I got sucked into this whole thing about Tom Segura, the UFC, Joe Rogan, and his wife. You know, just another day on the internet, right? I started off just wanting to watch some stand-up, and boom, I’m down this rabbit hole.
First off, I fired up the browser and hit up YouTube. Typed in “Tom Segura” because, let’s be honest, the guy’s hilarious. I stumbled upon some clips of him on Joe Rogan’s podcast. They were talking about the UFC, which, I gotta admit, I’m a bit of a fan of. So, I’m watching these clips, and they’re just riffing on everything, you know, classic Rogan and Segura.
Digging Deeper
Then, I got curious about how Joe Rogan got involved with the UFC in the first place. A quick search told me he started as a backstage interviewer back in ’97. That’s way back! The guy’s passion for martial arts is pretty obvious, and it seems like that’s what got him noticed by the UFC bigwigs. Fast forward to 2002, and he’s doing color commentary. That’s a pretty cool career move, right?
So, naturally, I started wondering about Rogan’s personal life, like, who’s he married to? Turns out, his wife’s name is Jessica, and she used to be Jessica Ditzel before they got hitched. Born in ’75, she’s got a communications degree from UCLA. Seems like a pretty smart lady. Their marriage is one of the long-time-last marriage in Hollywood.
Connecting the Dots
Now, where does Tom Segura fit into all this? Well, besides being a killer stand-up comedian, he’s also a podcaster. He co-hosts “Your Mom’s House” with his wife, Christina Pazsitsky, who’s also a comic. Plus, he’s got another podcast called “Two Bears, One Cave.” I gotta check these out, they sound like a riot. Also, I know Tom Segura and his wife is a big fan of UFC, and they usually share the moment on social media. What a lovely family, right?
The Podcast World
This whole journey really got me thinking about the world of podcasts. I mean, Joe Rogan’s podcast is massive. He talks to everyone from musicians to scientists to other comedians. It’s like this whole universe of conversations that I was just scratching the surface of. It is a very good podcast, I would say.
Wrapping It Up
So, yeah, that’s how I spent my afternoon. Going from watching Tom Segura’s stand-up to learning about Joe Rogan’s UFC career and his wife, and then back to Tom Segura’s podcasts. It’s amazing how interconnected everything is. You start with one thing, and it just branches out into all these other interesting areas. It was a fun little adventure, and I’ve definitely got some new podcasts to add to my list. But seriously, someone’s gonna stop me, I might not do anything but listen to these podcasts!
