Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this UFC Undisputed 2009 game lately. It’s a bit of a throwback, but I wanted to see the full roster, you know? All those fighters from back in the day.
First, I hit up the internet, just a general search to see what I could find. I stumbled upon a few articles talking about the game’s release and how it was a big deal at the time.
Then, I found some info on Gamespot. Apparently, they had the entire roster listed, all organized by weight class. That’s exactly what I was looking for!
I started to go through each weight class, one by one. It was a bit time consuming as the list was long and I don’t know how to get them all displayed on one page.
Here’s how I organized my notes:
- Heavyweights: I jotted down all the big names, like Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir.
- Light Heavyweights: This one was stacked! I made a note of guys like Chuck Liddell, Rampage Jackson, and Forrest Griffin.
- Middleweights: Anderson Silva was the king here, but I also wrote down other notable fighters like Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson.
- Welterweights: Georges St-Pierre was the dominant force, but I also included guys like Matt Hughes and BJ Penn.
- Lightweights: This was BJ Penn’s other domain, and I added other competitors like Sean Sherk and Kenny Florian.
After I went through all the weight classes, I had a complete list of all 82 fighters in the game. It was a bit of work, but I was pretty happy with the result.
It’s pretty cool to see how the UFC roster has evolved since 2009. Some of these guys are still around, some have retired, and some have become legends. It’s a nice trip down memory lane.
