Today I’m gonna tell you guys about my little adventure with getting a UFC gym pass. It wasn’t some grand plan or anything, just kinda stumbled into it, but it turned out to be a pretty cool experience.
How it all started
So, I’ve been feeling kinda sluggish lately, you know? Work from home, sitting on my butt all day, the usual. I knew I needed to get moving, but the thought of the same old boring gym routine made me wanna yawn just thinking about it. Then, one day I was scrolling through, I saw something about a UFC gym. Now, I’m no fighter, not even close, but the idea of training like those guys, even just a little bit, sounded kinda badass.
I did some digging, found out there’s a UFC gym not too far from me. They were all about this “Train Different” thing, which honestly sounded a bit gimmicky, but hey, I was curious. Plus, they had a free guest pass thing going on, so I figured, why not? Nothing to lose, right?
Signing up for the free pass
Getting the pass was easy peasy. Just filled out a form online, name, email, the usual stuff. They sent me an email, and that’s how it began.
My first day in
Walking into the gym was a bit intimidating, I won’t lie. Everyone looked like they knew what they were doing, all focused and intense. But the staff were super friendly, showed me around, explained the different classes they had. I decided to try out this “Ultimate Classes” thing, just to see what it was all about.
Let me tell you, it was a workout! We did all sorts of stuff, things I’d never even thought of doing at a regular gym. It was tough, but in a good way, you know? The kind of tough where you feel like you’ve actually accomplished something. And the coach was great, pushing us hard but also making sure we were doing things right.
The aftermath
I was sore for a couple of days after that, but it was a good kind of sore. I actually felt energized, like I had more pep in my step. And I gotta say, it was kinda fun pretending to be a fighter for an hour, even though I was probably the most uncoordinated one in the class.
The final verdict
So, would I recommend getting a UFC gym pass? Honestly, yeah, I would. It’s definitely different from your average gym experience. It’s challenging, it’s fun, and it makes you feel like you can take on the world, even if it’s just for an hour.
I ended up signing up for a membership. They have different tiers, so you can pick what suits you. I went for the one with unlimited group fitness and those Ultimate Classes, figured I might as well go all in. Plus, the idea of unlocking my potential sounds pretty cool.
