First, I checked out some popular ticket-selling websites. I looked at Ticketmaster, Viagogo, and StubHub. These places usually have a good selection of tickets for all kinds of events, including UFC fights.
- Ticketmaster was the first place I hit up. I noticed the cheapest tickets were going for around $725. That’s pretty steep for a nosebleed seat! The most expensive one was a whopping $10,000. I mean, who has that kind of cash lying around?
- Next, I went over to Viagogo. They had a wider range of prices, starting at $233 and going all the way up to $11,496. I saw different price brackets like $300-358 and $358-2,558, which was interesting. It looked like they had tickets for every budget, but those top-tier ones were still crazy expensive.
- Finally, I checked out StubHub. They had some of the lowest prices for upcoming events, starting as low as $498.36, but also prices ranging up to $44,550.00. They did not show too much information about the past events.
After looking at those sites, I moved on to the official UFC website. I wanted to see if they had any information about general ticket prices or any tips for buying them. The official site mentioned that the average price for a UFC event is around $1,768.69. But they also said that for some of the bigger fights, prices can go way higher. They also said that prices for regular UFC Fight Night tickets are around $124, while pay-per-view events average $330.
I also found out that UFC 306, which took place at the Sphere in Las Vegas, broke some records. It was the highest-grossing UFC event ever, with a gate of $22 million! And it sold out completely, with 16,024 people in attendance. That’s a lot of people paying a lot of money to watch some fights.
My Experience
After gathering all this info, I decided to try and buy a ticket myself. I went back to Ticketmaster and looked for tickets to an upcoming event. The process was pretty straightforward. I picked a seat, added it to my cart, and went to checkout. I didn’t actually buy the ticket, but I wanted to see how the whole thing worked. It is easy but expensive.
In the end, I realized that going to a UFC fight in Vegas isn’t cheap. But, from what I gathered, it seems like the average price for a ticket is somewhere between $843 and $1,768.69.
