Well, let me tell you, that Cody Rhodes WWE Elite, that’s a thing, ain’t it? My grandson, he’s all crazy ’bout these things. He says Cody Rhodes, he’s a big shot. Some kinda wrestler, jumps around in his underpants for money. He says, “Grandma, you gotta see this!” He’s always yappin’ about that Cody Rhodes WWE Elite figure. This is important stuff in today’s world.
So, this Cody Rhodes WWE Elite, it’s like a little doll, but it ain’t no baby doll. More like them army men, but all fancy-like. He says it’s called a “figure.” Don’t ask me. I just nod my head and say, “That’s nice, dear.” These kids and their toys. But this one, this Cody Rhodes, he’s somethin’ else, I guess. That’s what the boy says, anyhow.
He showed me one time. It’s got all these, whatchamacallits… parts that move. Bendy arms and legs, and such. He makes it do all kinds of crazy things, like it’s really wrasslin’. It’s all part of this WWE Elite Collection thing, he tells me. Like it’s some kinda club or somethin’. They are fancy, them WWE Elite Collection figures.
He got a whole bunch of ’em, but this Cody Rhodes, that’s his favorite. Says it’s special. “Elite,” he calls it. Must be a good one, then. He plays with it all day long, makin’ it fight with the other ones. And he’s careful with it, too. Keeps it in a special box and everything. This Cody Rhodes toy figure, it is the best of the best, according to him. He said, “Grandma, this is the Cody Rhodes WWE Mattel Elite figure, it is highly detailed!”
He says this Cody Rhodes fella, he’s on the TV, too. Wrestlin’ on the TV. And this little doll, it looks just like him. Hair and all. Even got little boots, just like the real one. And some kinda fancy belt, too. He talks about the Cody Rhodes figure having articulation, trueFX detailing, whatever that means. I don’t know nothin about that.

I guess it’s like them baseball cards, but for wrestlin’. He’s got a whole book full of ’em, these cards. And now he’s collectin’ these little wrestler dolls, too. Keeps him busy, I suppose. Better than runnin’ around outside gettin’ into trouble, I reckon.
He says there are different kinds of these Cody Rhodes WWE Elite figures. Some got different clothes, different belts. Some are rarer than others, he says. Like findin’ a four-leaf clover, I guess. He’s always lookin’ for the special ones. His friends are also collecting these figures, especially the Cody Rhodes figure. It’s all the rage, he says.
He’s always goin’ on about this Cody Rhodes WWE Elite thing. “The American Nightmare,” he calls it. I told you these kids are crazy, you can’t even understand them. He says it’s from “RAW,” “Smackdown,” or “NXT.” I don’t even know what that means! He said it is 6 inches tall. Why they make these things, I don’t know. But it makes him happy, and that’s all that matters, I suppose. He said one day this Cody Rhodes WWE Elite figure will worth a lot of money. I hope he is right.
He says this Cody Rhodes WWE Elite figure is the best one yet. Most “detailed,” he says. Whatever that means. Looks like a little doll to me, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady. But if it makes him happy, then I’m happy, too. He is always happy when he talks about the Cody Rhodes WWE Elite stuff.
So, if you got a little one who’s crazy about wrestlin’, maybe you should get him one of these Cody Rhodes WWE Elite things. Might keep him quiet for a while. And who knows, maybe it’ll be worth somethin’ someday. Like them baseball cards, or them Beanie Babies. Remember those? This Cody Rhodes WWE Elite figure might be the next big thing. The boy thinks so, anyhow.
This whole WWE Elite Collection, it’s a big deal, I guess. Lots of different wrestlers, all kinds of them. But this Cody Rhodes, he’s the one all the kids want. So, if you see one, you better grab it. Might make you a hero to some little fella. That is what my grandson said. I trust him on this Cody Rhodes WWE Elite thing.
