Man, so I decided to start collecting these WWE Elite figures. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell ya.
First off, I hit up a few local toy stores, you know, just to see what they had. Found a couple of decent figures, like that Seth Rollins one from the Greatest Hits series. That was a good start.
- Checked out some online shops next. Found a bunch more, but some of those prices, sheesh!
- Ended up snagging a Batista and a Shawn Michaels from the 2023 Greatest Hits set. Pretty pumped about those.
Then I started getting into the whole checklist thing. I mean, if you’re gonna collect, you gotta do it right, right?
- Made a list of all my favorite wrestlers first. That was the fun part.
- Then started looking up which Elite figures were out there. Found this Ultimate Warrior one, a rerelease from some 2017 series. Had to have it.
Man, I spent hours on this, scouring forums, and these online shops. It’s crazy how many of these things are out there.
- Found a complete set of the Greatest Hits 3 series. The Rock, Roddy Piper, Brutus Beefcake, even R-Truth! A full set!
- Then I stumbled upon this announcement for a Best of Ultimate Edition 5. It’s gonna have Seth Rollins and Hulk Hogan from WrestleMania III. Pre-ordered that one immediately, haha.
I also found out they made a DDP and King Harley Race. I had to go and get these too.
It’s been a blast
Honestly, it’s been a blast getting into this. It’s like being a kid again, but with way more disposable income, haha. Still got a long way to go to complete my collection, but I’m in it for the long haul. And I’ll keep sharing my finds along the way. Stay tuned!
