Alright, so you wanna know about this… this horn-swoggle thing, right? And the action figure? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. It’s a toy, see? A little doll, kinda, but for wrestling. You know, those big guys on TV, all sweaty and jumpin’ around?
This Hornswoggle fella, he ain’t one of the big guys, though. He’s a little fella, a real shorty. And he’s got this green get-up, makes him look like a little leprechaun or somethin’. My grandson, he loves these things. Got a whole box full of ‘em, all these wrestlers. Big ones, small ones, even some ladies!
- They got all sorts of these Hornswoggle figures, I hear.
- Some are old, some are new. Some are worth a pretty penny, too, believe it or not.
- Folks are sellin’ ‘em online, on that e-bay thing. My grandson showed me.
Now, these figures, they ain’t just stand-there-do-nothin’ toys. Oh no. They got bendy arms and legs, see? So you can make ‘em wrestle each other. My grandson, he makes ‘em do all sorts of crazy moves. He’ll have Hornswoggle jumpin’ off the couch, smackin’ into this big fella… Randy Orton, I think his name is.
I seen some of these figures come with extra stuff, too. Like, little chairs or ladders, even tiny belts. Like the real wrestlers use, ya know? They call ‘em “accessories,” fancy word for extra junk if you ask me. But the kids, they love that junk. Gives ‘em more to play with, I guess.
Where do you get these things? Well, like I said, there’s that e-bay, but you can find ‘em in stores, too. Walmart, Target, them big places. Sometimes they got whole aisles full of these wrestling toys. It’s a whole world, I tell ya. A world of tiny, bendy wrestlers.
And let me tell you, these figures ain’t cheap. Some of them, they cost more than a good pair of shoes! But the kids, they want ‘em. And the parents, well, we end up buyin’ ‘em. It’s the way it goes, I suppose. Keeps ‘em happy, keeps ‘em outta trouble… mostly.
My grandson, he’s always lookin’ for the “rare” ones. The ones that are hard to find. He says they’re worth more money, but I don’t know about that. Seems like a waste of money to me, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
They make these Hornswoggle figures in different sizes, too. Some are little, some are bigger. The little ones, they’re easier to lose, I’ll tell ya that much. Found one under the couch last week, covered in dust bunnies. Had to wash him off real good. He looked good as new after that, though.
You can find these wrestling figures from all different years, too. Some are from way back when, some are brand new. My grandson showed me some old ones, and they looked different than the new ones. The plastic was different, the paint was different… everything was different. It’s kinda like history, I guess, but with little plastic people.
So, that’s about all I know about this Hornswoggle action figure thing. It’s a toy, a collectible, a little plastic fella that kids love to play with. He’s short, he’s green, and he wrestles. What more do you need to know? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some dinner. All this talk about wrestling’s made me hungry!
