Alright, so you’re itchin’ to know ’bout this here WWE Select 2023, huh? Like what kinda cards they got and all that? Well, let me tell ya, it’s a whole heap of ’em. I heard someone sayin’ there’s like, over ten thousand different cards if you count all them fancy variations. That’s a lot of wrestlin’ faces, ain’t it?
Now, they started sellin’ these things ’round July of 2023, or so I’m told. Folks been rippin’ open packs and lookin’ for their favorites ever since. You got your big shots, your champions, and all sorts of other wrestlers. Heck, I even heard there’s managers in there too! Someone said the game, WWE 2K23, has got like, 246 of them wrestlers, but this card set, oh boy, it’s way bigger than that.
What’s in this here set, you ask? Well, it ain’t just plain ol’ cards, I’ll tell ya that much. They got these shiny ones, the ones that sparkle and catch your eye. And then there’s them special ones, the ones folks go crazy for. They call ’em “hits,” I think. Like, one-of-a-kind cards, or cards with a little piece of somethin’ from the wrestler’s gear, like a shirt or somethin’. Them’s the valuable ones, the ones that can get you a pretty penny if you’re lookin’ to sell.
I heard folks talkin’ ’bout “graded” cards too. Seems like they send ’em off to some place and they get ’em all sealed up and give ’em a number. The higher the number, the better the card, or so they say. It all sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but hey, if folks wanna spend their money on that, it ain’t my business.
- They got your regular cards, just the wrestlers standin’ there lookin’ tough.
- Then they got them shiny cards, all sparkly and whatnot.

Now, if you’re tryin’ to figure out if you got all the cards, or if that special card you’re lookin’ for has been found yet, you gotta find yourself a checklist. There’s plenty of ’em online, or so my grandkids tell me. Just type in somethin’ like “WWE Select 2023 checklist” on that there inter-web thingy, and you’ll find it. It’ll tell ya all the cards in the set, and maybe even how much they’re worth. But don’t go believin’ everything you read on there, mind you. Lots of folks tryin’ to pull a fast one these days.
And if you’re lookin’ to buy these cards, well, you can find ’em at the stores, or online too. But be careful, them prices can get mighty high, especially for them rare ones. I seen folks spendin’ more money on these cards than I make in a whole year! Crazy, I tell ya, just plain crazy. But hey, if it makes ’em happy, who am I to judge?
