Well, howdy there! Let’s yak about them WWE Superstars figures. You know, them little plastic fellas my grandkids are always hollerin’ about.
First off, where do you even get these things? Seems like you can find ’em everywhere. I hear tell of a place called “*”. Sounds fancy, huh? They got all sorts of WWE toys and whatnots. Says it’s the official place for Mattel WWE stuff. My grandkid, little Timmy, he’s always pesterin’ me for them Mattel ones. Says they’re the best. I reckon they must be, seein’ as how much they cost!
Then there’s this Walmart place. They got them figures too, even some special ones, like a Ric Flair fella. Timmy showed me a picture – man’s got hair like a peacock! And they ain’t cheap, let me tell ya. Fifty-some dollars for a hat! Land sakes, I could buy a whole week’s worth of groceries for that!
- Where to Buy:
- * (Mattel WWE stuff)
- Walmart (some exclusive figures)
- Amazon (even got them wrestling rings!)
Now, what kind of figures are we talkin’ about? Well, there’s all sorts. Some look like them old-timey wrestlers from back in the day, the 1980s I think little Timmy said. They got fancy get-ups and belts, like them champions you see on the TV. Then there’s the newer fellas, the ones Timmy watches on that there “SmackDown” show. He tells me all about ’em, but I can’t keep track. Too many names, too much jumpin’ around.
And wouldn’t you know it, they even make rings for them figures to fight in! Seen one on that Amazon website – a big ol’ thing with ropes and a bouncy floor. Timmy’d go hog wild for somethin’ like that, but it’d take up half the living room!
Them figures ain’t just plain old toys, mind you. Timmy says they got these fancy details, like real faces and such. He calls it “TrueFX technology.” Sounds like a whole lotta hooey to me, but he swears they look just like the real wrestlers. And there’s a bunch of ’em. That John Cena fella, he’s got a ton of figures. Timmy says he’s got the most. Must be a popular one, that Cena.
Now, here’s the kicker. These wrestlers, they come and go. Just like the seasons, I reckon. Timmy was tellin’ me about some fellas leavin’ – a Corbin, a Nox, and a Hartwell. He was all upset about it, like they were old friends movin’ away. I told him, “That’s just life, kiddo. People come, people go.” But he just huffed and puffed. Kids these days, they get attached to them TV fellas somethin’ fierce.
So, what’s the bottom line on these WWE Superstars figures? Well, they ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. But them kids sure do love ’em. They got all sorts of characters, old and new, and they come with all sorts of fancy accessories. And if you got a place to put ’em, and the money to buy ‘em, I guess they ain’t a bad way to keep the young’uns entertained. Just don’t ask me to keep track of all them names and faces. My old brain ain’t what it used to be!
And one more thing, if you’re gonna buy these here figures, make sure you’re gettin’ the real deal. There’s a lot of junk out there, Timmy tells me. Stick to them Mattel ones, or buy ‘em from a reputable place like Walmart or Amazon. That way, you won’t be wastin’ your hard-earned money on some cheap knock-off.
Anyways, that’s about all I know about them WWE Superstars figures. If you got any more questions, you best ask little Timmy. He’s the expert, not me. I’m just an old woman tryin’ to make sense of it all.
