Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these here WWE Elite Series 1 figures. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I know what I like. My grandson, he’s crazy ’bout this wrestlin’ stuff. Always yellin’ and jumpin’ around, pretendin’ he’s one of them fellas.
So, I got him this here Rock figure, ya know, the one they call “The Rock.” Heard he’s a big deal. This here figure, it’s pretty fancy. Got all sorts of muscles and whatnot. Looks like he could really whoop somebody, that’s for sure. My grandson, he loves it. Keeps makin’ him do that eyebrow thing, you know the one.
- It’s got movable arms and legs, so you can make him do all sorts of wrestlin’ moves.
- And the clothes, well, they’re somethin’ else. Shiny and colorful. Looks like somethin’ a real wrestler would wear, I guess.
Then there’s this other one, Hogan, they call him. Big fella, this one. Got a bandana and those big ol’ arms. My grandson says he’s a legend. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout that, but the figure is pretty well made. Strong, you know? Like it could take a beatin’. Which is good, ’cause my grandson, he ain’t exactly gentle with his toys.
I saw some other figures too. Bigelow, they called him. And Brutus somethin’-or-other. All lookin’ tough and ready to rumble. They got these things they call “Greatest Hits,” I reckon it means they’re the best ones or somethin’. My grandson, he wants ’em all, of course. Kids these days, always wantin’ more, more, more.
These figures ain’t cheap, let me tell ya. But seein’ the smile on my grandson’s face, well, it’s worth it, I reckon. He plays with them all day long, makin’ up stories and havin’ these big ol’ wrestlin’ matches. It’s kinda fun to watch, even if I don’t understand half of what’s goin’ on.
I heard you can get these things on that Amazon place. They got all sorts of stuff there, I hear. Even got ’em cheaper sometimes, if you know where to look. But I ain’t too good with that computer stuff. My grandson, he’s the whiz at that. He can find anythin’ on that thing, it’s like magic, I tell ya.
And then there’s that eBay place too. People sellin’ all sorts of things there. Used toys, new toys, you name it. I heard you gotta be careful though, some folks ain’t always honest. But if you find a good deal, it can be worth it. I might have to get my grandson to help me look for some more of these wrestlin’ figures. He’d like that, I bet.
These WWE Elite Series 1 figures, they’re more than just toys, I guess. They’re like little pieces of somethin’ bigger. Somethin’ that makes my grandson happy, and that’s all that matters to me. He’s a good kid, and seein’ him happy, well, it makes my heart warm. Even if it means listenin’ to all that wrestlin’ noise all day long. He even pretends to be The Scorpion King. Oh well, whatcha going to do?
So, if you got a kid who likes wrestlin’, or maybe you like it yourself, these figures ain’t a bad choice. They’re well made, they look cool, and they seem to last pretty good, even with all that roughhousin’. Just be prepared to spend a little bit of money, ’cause like I said, they ain’t cheap. But hey, what’s a little money when it comes to makin’ a kid smile? That’s what I always say.
And remember, these things are small, so don’t go steppin’ on ’em! I almost broke one the other day. My grandson woulda had a fit if I did that. Gotta be careful, these little toys are sneaky little things.
