Okay, so I gotta tell you about this wrestling event I checked out in Fayetteville. The event’s called “WWE Fayetteville”, and I went there to experience it firsthand. I’m not really a die-hard fan, but it seemed like a fun way to spend an evening, so I decided to go.
First off, I needed to find the place. It’s called the Crown Coliseum, a pretty big venue, easy to spot, right off Owen Drive. It’s located on the North side. I heard this place can hold like 13,500 people, maybe even 15,000, which is wild. So, I looked up the directions, it seemed simple enough.
I booked a room at the Holiday Inn Fayetteville-I-95 South. Heard it’s a decent place to crash, and it wasn’t too far from the Coliseum.
I arrived a bit early, so I decided to grab a bite. I walked around Dickson Street, checking out the local scene, they told me I might find myself there for food and drinks. The food scene in Fayetteville is pretty diverse. I ended up trying some classic Southern eats. There’s also some modern farm-to-table stuff if you’re into that. It’s not bad, I can tell you that!
Getting into the event was a breeze. The box office is right at the main entrance, so I grabbed my ticket and went in. The energy inside was crazy. People were all hyped up, and the lights and music got everyone going. I found my seat, and the view was pretty good.
The wrestling matches themselves were entertaining. Lots of action, some crazy moves, and the crowd was super into it. It’s one of those things you gotta see in person to really get. I have to say, it was quite the spectacle. Everyone was excited!
After the show, I headed back to the hotel. I saw some people mentioned Mt. Rose Hotel, Home2 Suites By Hilton Fayetteville North, and Hampton Inn and Suites Fayetteville are also good places to stay. Next time maybe I will try them.
So, that was my night at WWE Fayetteville. It was definitely an experience. Would I go again? Maybe. It’s a fun thing to do if you’re in town and looking for something different.
