Alright, let’s talk about these here WWE Superstars figures, wave 7, or whatever they call it. I tell ya, these things, they’re somethin’ else. My grandkids, they love ‘em. Always yellin’ ‘bout this wrestler and that wrestler. Me? I don’t know half of ‘em, but they seem important to the young’uns, so here we are.
So, these figures, they’re about six inches tall, they say. That’s, uh, about this big. shows hand. And they got all these fancy faces, real-like, ya know? They call it “TrueFX” or somethin’. Makes ‘em look like the real deal, I guess. My grandson Johnny, he keeps showin’ me this fella, Randy Orton, looks angry all the time in plastic form just like on that there TV thing. Says he’s got a bunch of different ones, like 55 or somethin’. That’s a lot of angry faces, if you ask me.
Then there’s this Rey Mysterio fella. Johnny says he’s got even MORE figures, like almost 80! Must be popular. He wears a mask, so I guess they don’t need to make so many different faces for him, ha! Smart thinking, that Rey fella.
- Lots of Wrestlers: They got figures for all sorts, even ones that ain’t around no more. Like this Undertaker fella, looks spooky. And Triple H, he’s got a bunch too, over 50 they say. Big Show, Kane, all them big fellas. And that CM Punk, always lookin’ like he’s got a burr under his saddle.
- Where to Get ‘Em: Now, findin’ these things, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Johnny says you can get ‘em at Walmart sometimes. Or online, at some place called “*.” Sounds fancy. They got rings too, little ones, so the figures can fight, I guess. Kids and their fighting…
- Fancy Stuff: Some of these figures, they got special clothes and hats. Johnny showed me one with a red hat, cost a pretty penny, he said. Almost 60 dollars! For a little hat! And hoodies, too. Kids these days, they spend money on the strangest things.
Now, I hear some of them wrestlers ain’t even with the WWE no more. Like this Baron Corbin fella, and some girls, Tegan and Indi somethin’-or-other. Johnny says they got “released.” Sounds like they were troublemakers to me. And some others, like Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss, they ain’t around neither. Maybe they went fishin’. Who knows?
These figures, they got little joints, so you can move their arms and legs. Johnny likes to make ‘em wrestle each other. He makes all sorts of noises, “Wham!” and “Pow!” and “Yeet!” I don’t know where he learns these things. But he seems happy, so that’s good, I reckon.
So, if you got kids, or grandkids, or you just like these wrestlin’ folks yourself, these figures might be somethin’ you’d be interested in. Just be prepared to spend some money, ‘cause they ain’t cheap. And don’t come cryin’ to me when your house is full of little plastic people. You’ve been warned!
Mattel, that’s the company that makes ‘em. They make all sorts of toys, I hear. Been around a long time, too. Guess they know what they’re doin’. These figures, they’re pretty sturdy, though. Johnny drops ‘em all the time, and they don’t break too often. That’s good, ‘cause he ain’t exactly gentle.
Anyway, that’s about all I know about these WWE Superstars figures wave 7 or whatever number it is. They’re little plastic people that look like wrestlers. Kids like ‘em. They cost money. And that’s the long and short of it.
