Alright, let’s gab about these wrestling fellas, the WWE Superstars, Series 11, or whatever they call ’em. I saw some pictures, and lemme tell ya, they’re somethin’ else.
First off, they got this Razor Ramon fella. Now, I ain’t never heard of him before, but they say this here figure is from his early days, before he was all famous and such. They call it a “chase variant,” which I guess means it’s hard to find. Like tryin’ to find a good tomato in the supermarket these days, you know? Everything’s so hard and tasteless. Anyway, this Razor fella, he’s got them little curly hairs on his face, and he’s wearin’ some kinda vest. Looks like he’s ready to rumble, that’s for sure. He reminds me of that fella, you know, the one with the toothpick, always smilin’ and flickin’ it around. Yeah, him.
- They got a whole bunch of these figures, a whole “wave” they call it.
- And they showed some of ’em at somethin’ called Wrestlemania. Sounds fancy.
- Like one of them fairs they have, with all the lights and noise.
These fellas, they wrestle, you see. They jump around and hit each other, and the crowd goes wild. It’s like a big ol’ soap opera, but with more muscles and less cryin’, ya know? They got belts, too. Big, shiny belts. Like the kind my grandson used to wear when he played pretend cowboy. Only these belts say “WWE Heavyweight Champion.” Sounds important, huh?
They also got this thing called a “Global Superstars Pack.” Sounds like a whole lotta wrestlin’ in one package. You can buy it by itself, or you can get it with somethin’ they call a “Season Pass.” Sounds like one of them deals where you pay extra and get more stuff. They do that with everything these days, don’t they? Always tryin’ to get more money outta ya. Anyways, this pack has a bunch of wrestlers from all over, I guess. Global, you know? Like them maps they used to have in school, with all the different countries.
And then there’s talk of these wrestlers comin’ back. Like this fella CM Punk. He came back at somethin’ called “Survivor Series.” Sounds scary. Like one of them reality shows where they gotta eat bugs and stuff. And then there’s John Cena. He popped up outta nowhere at the “Royal Rumble.” Rumble, huh? Sounds like a big fight. And Roman Reigns, he came back too, at “SummerSlam.” These names, I tell ya. They sure are somethin’. They make you think these fellas are larger than life. But they’re just men, same as you and me, just a bit bigger and louder maybe.
And now, they’re sayin’ another one of these fellas might be comin’ back. A legend, they call him. Well, I guess if you wrestle for a long time, you become a legend. Like them old country singers, still singin’ the same songs after all these years.
They also talked about this Cody Rhodes fella. They say he “finished the story” in 2024. Sounds like one of them books my granddaughter used to read. Always talkin’ about finishin’ the story. I guess this Cody fella, he had a story to finish too. And he did it in the ring, beatin’ some fella I reckon. That’s how they finish stories in wrestling, with a good ol’ fashioned fight.
So, these WWE Superstars, Series 11, they’re just toys, really. But they remind me of them old-timey wrestlers I used to see on TV. The ones with the big hair and the colorful outfits. They were somethin’, them fellas. Always yellin’ and posin’. But they put on a good show. And I guess these new fellas are doin’ the same thing. Keepin’ the tradition alive, they say. Well, as long as they don’t hurt each other too bad, I guess it’s alright. It’s just entertainment, after all. Like them shows on the TV, always somethin’ goin’ on, someone shoutin’ or jumpin’ around. Makes you forget about the weeds in the garden for a little while, I suppose.
I don’t know much about these fellas, mind you. Never really watched it much myself. But seems like a lot of folks enjoy it, so there must be somethin’ to it. Like those fancy coffee drinks, all them flavors and whatnot. I don’t get it, but people pay a lot of money for ’em. Same thing with this wrestling, I guess. It’s got a following, a big one it seems. So good for them, these superstars. Hope they make a good livin’ doin’ their jumpin’ and shoutin’. It ain’t easy work, I reckon. Nothin’ is these days. But at least they got somethin’ to show for it, these figures and such. Little plastic men for folks to collect and remember the show by. It’s a funny old world, ain’t it?
