Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to get into the whole WWE scene for a while now, and I finally took the plunge this year. I started with the recent stuff, you know, just to get a feel for it. The first event I really paid attention to was the one on January 5th. I remember seeing something about Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, and that got me curious.
So, I dug a bit deeper and found some info about an event on November 23rd. It seems like Rhodes was the guy to watch, which made sense since he was all over the news. He had these insane matches with Seth Rollins before, and apparently, he won the Royal Rumble this year and went up against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. What a story, right?
My Watch List
- January 5th: This was my entry point. I made a note to watch the full event because the snippets I saw were pretty exciting.
- March 23rd: Another date that popped up while I was looking around. I figured it would give me a good idea of how the storylines progressed.
- June 29th: Marked this one down because why not? More wrestling to watch!
- October 5th: This one had matches taped before the October 2nd episode of WWE Raw, so I thought it would be cool to see the setup.
- November 23rd: The big one! This is where Rhodes faced off against Owens again, and I heard there was some controversy.
I managed to watch all these events over the past few weeks. Seriously, I went all in. And let me tell you, it was a wild ride. Seeing Rhodes come back in 2022 and then go on to do all this stuff was mind-blowing. And that match with Owens? Insane! There was this part where Owens gave Reigns a stunner and then a pop-up. I jumped out of my seat!
And then there’s this move, the Black Forrest Bomb, followed by The Tsunami. I saw Bronson Reed pull that off for a win. I had to rewind that a few times; it was that good.
I also got into this MyGM mode in WWE 2K23. I spent hours playing that, trying to create the best weekly show. It’s crazy how you can control everything, from the schedule to the promos. I felt like a real General Manager, making all these decisions.
So yeah, that’s my journey into WWE this year. It’s been a blast, and I’m definitely hooked now. I can’t wait to see what happens next. It is truly full of surprises, and I am already looking forward to the next season!
